  Crazy accident in my city today

  i'm sure everyone has met semi-trucks hauling large pieces of construction equipment while driving down the highway.

  ever considered what would happen if that equipment came off the trailer?.

  the machine came off the truck to the left, bounced over the barrier, flew over the gap, hit the barrier on the freeway opposite, and landed in the grass below.

  The driver was obviously going too fast around the bend. When the weight of the machinery shifted, the chains holding it in place snapped and the thing rolled off. That would definately scare the pants off of me.

  High gas prices finally changing North American vehicle attitudes

  when i read that the ford f-150 is the best selling vehicle in america i wrongly assumed that it was just the best selling truck.

  but no, it has been the best selling vehicle for the last 17 years!

  if that is the best selling you can be sure that there are plenty of similar models from different manufacturers being bought as well.. they are huge, fuel-inefficient things and i seriously doubt that even 90% of the people who buy them really need them.

  Scooters? You wouldn't want to get caught in a South Florida rainstorm in one. And with the accidents I have seen with people in two-wheeled vehicles, I'll stick with an enclosed four-wheeler thank you. Besides, how can I transport a toddler in one of those?

  Suggestions for JW Girlfriend?

  so i've been seeing this jw girl for a couple weeks now... she kind of contacted me out of the blue (i've known her since i was 4, shes two years older than i) and wanted to hook up for coffee or something.

  i avoided it for about half a month.

  not really avoided it, but was going to have fun with it when it came, because i thought she was just going to try to encourage me to go to meetings and whatnot.. so, first time she calls me up at like 9:30pm on a weeknight to come over to her house... so i ride my bicycle over and go inside and she and her cousin were getting drunk on alcohol and they started getting me to drink.

  Kwin...you obviously don't know me, so I'd have to say you're just trying to be mean. Success! I'm 55 and have successfully raised my children. Needless to say, I'm no virgin.

  I'm mean to anyone who basically calls one of my good friends a rapist.

  I had to go look that term up...I had heard the term "cougar", not "cougar bar"... LOL... I need to go find one of those places.....

  Snakes, if you come to visit again, I'll take you to one! Promise! We'll bring Mincan . haha
