  hey everyone!

  just joined this board, but not new to boards of this sort.. the board i favored most just changed and i haven't rejoined (mainly because it sux now).. i have heard about this board for awhile, but this is the first time i ventured in.

  no more bible study slip reports. WHY?

  i apologize if this has been discusses before.

  a few months ago publishers were told not to hand in individual study reports for bible studies.

  remember, we had to hand in a separate report for each bible study with name and address of bible student.

  I think it is tacit approval from headquaters to fudge the numbers by the rank and file. That way it is the same as in Brooklyn, where they fudge numbers all the time.

  Definitely.

  It cuts deepest when it is a person that you feel close to, or are in a relationship with. I am sorry that you are experiencing this pain now, and hope it passes quickly.

  Q: What happens when you block my driveway?

  a: i block your car.. today i was out and about enjoying a rare day off work.

  all was well and i was feeling good and having a good time... then i came home and found this grey honda parked in my driveway blocking me from parking in my garage (the one i pay $70 a month for).

  ok, if asshole wants to block me, i'll block asshole.

  i have been lurking here for a couple of months.

  i was born and raised as a witness, and am a little weirded out to even be posting on here (you know the paranoia).

  anyway, i faded about 10 years ago, and after reading so many posts, i am so happy that it was a pretty uneventful experience.

  i remember growing up we were told not to voice our fears outloud, lest satan hear them and use it against us during the gt.

  as a result i grew up pretending i wasn't afraid of anything, that i was the strong one, which is sooooo far from the truth!

  lol i have learned that i am stronger than i thought i was, but there is a part of me that just once would love someone else to deal with the fears and tell me it's all going to be ok. .

  What is the best question to ask a witness

  lets have a free for all .

  i would say why dont you have a book study anymore but that one is done to death... we had a witness recently and i asked for the latest jw only mag (he didn't realise i used to be in his cong... have i done that good a job at fading?

  ) it was a laugh to see the two of them struggle to come up with an answer.... ok lets here the best you can come up with, there has to be some better than mine, what question will leave them stuck for an answer...... .

  Real Good News

  this must be a sign of what will lie ahead for the j-dubs (at least in the united states).

  this last weekend at the special day circuit assembly i went to, not a single person got baptized (zero, zip, nada) and the funny part was that they still had to give the baptism talk because it was already in the program schedule.

  hopefully people are starting to catch on and we'll have a few more "zero baptism" assemblies.

  I do remember an uno, not a zero. It was the little kid of some elder, and I remember that it really seemed weird when only one person responded to the questions.

  Wouldn't it be cool if one of us could be the only candidate, and when the questions were asked, say "Hell no!"
