  Online Bibles

  i believe there are many on this forum who are not aware of the many online bibles from which they could almost effortless copy verses to paste into their arguments.

  when one refers to a particular verse in a particular book, few readers have the patience to go seach through the whole book.. the online source i use is called "bible gateway.

  " it provides several different versions of the bible, and offers word search, which is an indispensible tool for those who take their bible research seriously.. bible gateway is at http://bible.gospelcom.net/.

  whats your earliest memory?.

  i can remmember going to see my new-born sister in hospital when i was 2 years old.. funny thing is i remmember , remmembering that i remmembered things from the past as a 2 year old , but i carnt remmember the actual things themself.. i hope that makes sense.. i wonder if i can access earlier memories by some technique?

  whispered on the grapevine in oz is that a former elder has sued a body of elders for wrongful df and won!

  the plaintiff claimed harrassment and physical abuse by the elders.

  apparently the court awarded costs amounting to around $30,000 australian to the plaintiff.

  campbell is an author and scholar of mythology and religion.

  i am going to find and buy is book "the power of myth" he offers some very, very good insights and well worth looking at.. om

  Thanks for the excellent biography you have given about Joseph Campbell. I have read a number of his books, and have learned from him and Jung and others, the power of mythology.

  Even though most of my attention is on the mixed history/mythology of the Bible, I realize that all mythology has value from Little Red Riding Hood to Pecos Bill and all the others.
