I looked up Church Insurance and found that there are three major insurance companies for Church Insurance in the US. All of them advise screening processes for there volunteer workers.
Church Mutual Insurance Co., GuideOne Insurance Co. and
Brotherhood Mutual Insurance Co.
Together, they represent a large chunk of all U.S. Protestant churches.
Each of these compainies advocate careful screening of all volunteer workers
The following is a quote from Brotherhood Mutual Insurance Co. website:
Carefully screening people before allowing them to work in your ministry is an important investment in your ministry’s future. Here are a few reasons why:
1. It’s one of the best ways of protecting your church from incidents of child sexual assault.
2. It helps you avoidappointing staff or volunteerswho might skim money from church accounts.
3. It allows you to select drivers for church vehicles who have safe driving records.
4. It’s a prudent step to take before allowing someone to become a leader in your ministry. Without it, you run the risk of having someone misrepresent his or her background.
5. If you communicate that your ministry is committed to making itself a safe haven for children, screening could become a tool that attracts volunteers and new members.
6. It also reduces your liability in court if you should accidentally hire someone who commits acrime, because it demonstrates that your ministry has taken reasonable care to safeguard its members.
They advise criminal checks, former employer checks, child abuse records, the whole package. They advocate yearly updates on all their workers.
If the Watchtower supplements it KHAA insurance scheme, I am sure they would have to enlist with one of the largest Non-Catholic insurance companies that has nationwide coverage.
What screening policies does the Watchtower conduct for its volunteers from micro-humper to vehicle drivers, to literature assistance etc. The Watchtower can become liable for any crime or negligence that their volunteers may perpetuate. If their associate insurance companies no of their grooming and training practices, whoo, whoo, immediate jack-up price!
Here is a few I can think of for now.
own a suit
own a shiny briefcase
knows how to raise his arm quickly not bent at the elbow at meetings.
never seen with his fly open
does not linger too long at the urinal stalls, no chit chat with fellow uninators.
greets the CO with a holy-kiss in the appropriate places and can tie his shoelaces while gazing into his eyes.
do you have any more?
belbab, just one of the locust class, stinger included.
