  alex was asking about how the org is structured.

  i could detail the lower levels but got lost around do and bethel elder onwards.

  can anyone who knows fill in some more, please?.

  I'd arrange it differently below CO, but I've been out for 9 years so I may be wrong.
  Below the C.O. level:
  Elder Caste:
  Top Echelon Elders. "Heavies" at conventions, hobnob with CO's and DO's, regularly featured as speakers at conventions, top-requested visiting speakers for public talks.
  Middle Echelon Elders. Assistants to upper echelon elders at conventions. Known by name by CO's and DO's. Well used as visiting speakers for pubic talks.
  Lower Echelon Elders and New Elders. Run food service at conventions. Shake hands with CO's and DO's. Associate with ministerial servants. Sometimes give public talks.
  Non-Classed Elders. Parking attendants and "clean up crew" at conventions. Say "Hello Brother" to CO's.
  Associate with anyone. Rarely give public talks.
  Ministerial Servants. Stage crew for dramas at conventions. Kneel before CO's and DO's. Groveling for that first public talk.
  The Publisher Caste.
  The Nun/Monk. Regular Pioneer, vowing to remain single to more fully serve Jehovah. If male, advances quickly to Ministerial Servant while waiting for the most prime skirt to say yes, if female diligently pioneers while waiting for that ministerial servant to say "let's get married so we can get in the sack". Cruises other nuns/monks at conventions. Well known by the CO if from a prominent family. Gives great announcements at the Service Meeting or great #3 talks on the Ministry School.
  Good Publisher. Has boyfriend/girlfriend on a higher caste. Regular-auxiliary pioneers. May relate experiences at conventions. Gives very good substitute talks on the Ministry School.
  Publisher. Friends with most everyone, even some vanilla fringe elements. Puts in 20+ hours. Has to be introduced to the CO.
  The 'Other' Caste.
  "A Witness". Babtized, Friends with everyone, even the CO knows his/her name. Sometimes goes in service.
  "Oh, that's <so-and-so>". Babtized. Known by everyone in the circuit, even the CO. May go in service.
  "Uh, that's <so-and-so>" . Maybe babtized. Known by everyone in the district, especialy his/her CO. Some of the "A Witness" sub-caste have been in field service with this person, maybe. The coolest person to hang with. (like Keith Conklin, right Slayer?))
  then there's the rest of us.

  Openminded, I use andro daily. I use the Androstat poppers I get from GNC. Great for energy, but the weight gains for me are nonexistent. Have you tried the Oxydrene yet?
  At six feet and 135 pounds for the last 10 years, I think it is time to try something else.

  sexual morality in the old testament differs from that in the new testament .

  conservative christians like the jehovah's witnesses often claim that, like the new testament, the old testament forbids all sexual relations outside marriage, including relations between unmarried people.

  Thank you very much Alan for the hard work you put into that post. I wish I had a printer, because it would definitely be in hard copy.
  I never looked at the Mosaic law that way before, as treating women as property. I've always just ingested the WT teaching on whatever verse of the OT I was fed, like the story of Onan being a lesson against masturbation.

  Sorry I left that part out, Francoise. I wouldn't go above a 10mg with alcohol. And you're right, the highest dose contin would probably be fatal if mixed.
  You know, there's also other ways to "enjoy your day" that don't involve being a vegetable. Sorry ladies, you have to be a guy for this one.
  Go to a health food joint like GNC and ask for Androstat Poppers and try them when you are doing physical labor or working out. The harder the labor, the better.

  Troubled, your post really concerns me. It really sounds like the thought has crossed your mind. The natural response from anyone would be that nothing is so bad as to warrant ending your life. But deep down inside all of us will agree that those are just nice words, that the sadness and confusion and despair are very real and fill up the empty spaces that should hold happiness and hope and can make death seem like a logical option. So I won't say "don't think about suicide" because it is a normal thought when depressed enough. I've thought about it and I'd bet most of the other regulars on this board have also. Let each thought of death be followed by the thought of living to find a reason not to do it. I'm glad that you took the step to discuss it, whether here or anywhere as long as you talk about it openly that is the important thing. Don't let this be your last post as you commented in parenthesis. Definitely keep in touch with everyone and say what is bothering you.

  Undecided and Francoise, I'm sorry if you feel I am taking the whole thing lightly. I know my post came across that way, but I am fully aware of how many suffer from addictions.
  In Francoise's case, it was bound to happen. Your body cannot relieve its own pain. It relies on what you supply it to relieve pain, and naturally builds up a tolerance over time.
  In the case of crack addicts, I have to put a little of the blame on the person. I have used crack and powder cocaine before. I enjoyed both of them for the experience they gave me. I didn't go out looking for more the next day, though. There are a lot of people who have used highly addictive drugs like crack or heroin experimentally and did not get hooked. It all boils down to the individual.
  I've had oxycodone before, but at the current street price of $10-$20/pill for oxycontin around here, I'll pass. If you want to try it (and I have said this in another drug topic post) be responsible when you do. Have everything stocked so you don't have to go drive to the store, if you have kids they need to be spending a fun weekend with grandma and grandpa or whoever but not in your care, leave enough time to sober up and get a good sober night's sleep before work the next day. Also, maybe have a trusted friend check up on you if you live alone. Take ONE pill at a time! If you don't feel anything, don't start popping them like candy. Personally, I prefer sticking with lower dosages and chasing them down with a cold beer or two. Don't guzzle one beer after another and don't take the pill after you've had a 12-pack. Eat a good meal, I like to go out to eat. Avoid greasy fried foods. Stop drinking before the pill wears off and drink water or juice to rehydrate.

  What "other sources" of DNA are they talking about?
  Makes for a pretty good movie, considering recent successes at the box office.
  Neat story, but if this project were true, they wouldn't go public with it until the birth had already happened. They also wouldn't tell the surrogate mother what was going on, it would have to be done secretly through agents working at a medical facility.
  There would also have to be more than one surrogate mother to allow for miscarriage and whatever else.
  Come to think of it, it would be unwise to go public after the birth since the child would be placed in danger, or at the very least wouldn't have much of a normal childhood.

  Maximus, the "appropriate research" phrase stands out in my mind as a big "what the hell?!"
  If the Bible is the authority, what is this other research?
  From what I can remember, each book of the King James Version was voted on by some body way back when and some books only made it in by one vote. So what books were voted out?
  What research resources does The Empire, or for that matter The Vatican or any other religious authority have that we laypersons don't have access to that apparenty we shouldn't have access to? I'm sorry, is there something in the 68'th or 85'th book of the Bible which I don't know and never should because that particular book was deemed unnaceptable for me way back in medieval times?
