Lost in all this is the skillful way the brothers tried to find common ground with the householder. They noticed his rocks, one even commented on building a wall. And they left him in a good mood for their next visit. Can't you just see this demonstrated at the Service Meeting or maybe even an Assembly?

It would seem there is more than one person involved and eventually they will be caught. It's a reminder of the "Son of Sam" killings in NY. He was caught by a parking ticket. Something will trip him/they up. Bulletproof vests are illegal for ordinary citizens. Hopefully other sick minds around the country will not become "copycats."

first of all, sorry for my bad english i'm from peru south america.

there's a lot to tell but i'm going in this time to be brief, because i'm very busy.. i had been an elder for almost 8 years and a jh for more than 22 years.. i'm a searcher of the truth from the 10 years old.

i grow as a catholic and got baptized as a jh at the age of 21.. in october of 2001 a jw friend ask me about the un&wt and bulgarian affair.

*SNEEZES"...Should I say Bless You???? lol

i'm pretty sure i'm right about this.

i haven't been in the org for a long time, but it seems that whenever someone sneezes, you are not supposed to say "bless you" ///// why is this so??

i personaly don't see anything wrong w/saying bless you !

I always thought it was due to the superstition angle. When I sneezed at work and someone said it I would just say thank you. If they would sneeze I would say nothing. The next time I sneezed they would say nothing. It's just something that has no point. If someone tripped would you say it? Got a paper cut? If someone were to say it at the meeting they would definately be looked at strangely at the very least.

I wish I had gone on to college back in the 70's. But I thought I'd never need the education. No money back guarantees from the Society is there?

When I told them I was moving and leaving the congregation it started to get real cold. Then when they started calling to find out my new cong. I gave em one, sent their book back and they had to tear up the nice letter of recommendation and write another. After some foolishness from the new cong. I decided I was going to take Tuesdays and Thursdays off.
