What does it say about a religion the would even print something about the nuances of lying. Each of us decides what is a lie and what is not. When a religion has an article about the differneces in lying and holding back all the truth that throws up a red flag for me. I would be asking "why are they even discussing this? What are they lying about and what are they withholding from me?"

This joke was posted on a Harely Davidson forum I'm a memeber of.
There was a knock on the door this morning,
I opened it and there was a young bloke standing there who said:
"I'm a Jehovah's Witness".
I said "Come in and sit down."
"Now what do you want to talk about"?
He said, " Damned if I know; I've never got this far before" -

What's Your Worst/Best Quality About You?
by minimus ini'd say my worst is sometimes i don't like to deal with important things and don't unless necessary.. my best quality (and there are so many that this may be difficult.

My best quality is probably I'm not a procrastinator. My girlfriend always says that I never let the grass grow under my feet. If something needs done I just do it while she is still thinking about it.
My worst quality is I can be impatient at times. Like I said, I want things done now.

I was sitting on the couch watching the shuttle launch. I always watched it launch back then. I remember seeing it explode and running outside to tell my mom.

Give www.surfthechannel.com a try.
You can search for TV show and movies. They have new and really old TV and movies as well.
It's mainly just a link library the links you to another site.
I've been using it for a couple of years.

my story, would like some advice
by deservingone26 inim looking for some advice.. so i grew up as a witness was baptized when i was seventeen, which by the way i was pushed into baptizm cuse my parents kept asking me when i was and threatned to not buy me a car if i didnt get baptized.
since it was never in my heart i was never very dedicated and was disfellowshipped by nineteen i started the process of coming back but after bout four months i moved out.
i started partying alot mainly with my other disfellowshipped friends and nonactive jw frien, we were drinking alot and smoking weed but soon i started feeling the need to go back so i started up at the meetings but i got bored and went back to my old ways, this has been what i have been doing for the last five years, partying getting drunk and drugs and then stopping and going back to the meetings for a couple months, the same process for last the last almost five years.

First I would say you have to get away from your current social group. This includes witness friends and others that drink and do drugs with you. You really need to find a group of people that will build you up and be there for you when you need them. Get off the roller coaster ride you are on.
Personally I would suggest joining a martial arts training school. Training in the martial arts really helped ground me when I was going through my divorce. I found a wonderful group of people that are my true friends and that will be there for me. Now that I've been training for 6 years I'm the one the new ones come to for support and friendship. I'm alway happy to offer it.

I saw an interesting show on Pompeii the other day. They showed an impression where a cross hung in a house when it was covered in ash in 79 A.D.
So Christians were using the cross in their worship only 46 years after Jesus' death.
