  What upset you about your past in the org?

  personnally, what upset me the most is all the wasted time.

  i'm now 21 years old, you'll say that i'm still young but i know someone you were at the same elementary school than me and she's now in university.

  That I wasted all the time there and preaching and forgot or don?t have any contact with family and friends.

  OK, So I'm thinking about becoming a witness.

  i was raised roman catholic but stopped going about 25 years ago.

  i was talking with someone i work with who is a jw and suggested i might look into it.

  so here i am.............

  Anyway, when they do this study my husband ask an elder (Bethelite) and he said that if a marriage do it it?s all right, the problem were if other people know it. I was in shock for the answer?but he gave us green light LOL

  Lots og JWs do have oral sex anyway. But they dont feel like telling the elders of course.

  And some JWs lie about their clean conduct because they whant to ge married in the hall...

  Ok i was brought up in the organisation; but didnt know abou this oral sex thingy....wheres the scriptual basis for that rule then....it would be typical though wouldnt it....if your a JW you cannot have any fun...

  LOL They explain this after your baptisms or with time you understand by yourself.

  that comment has been made a number of times.

  since jehovah loves those he disciplines, short of stoning one, this is god's way of saying, i love you"......stupid, huh?

  My cousin just asks me that. If you are a loving person and your religion said that God is love, how come when a person committed a sin you don?t speak to them you turn your back for that person who needs you now more than ever. He said that not love, the religions is another business.

  i bet this is all old hat to you regulars on the board, but occassionally when i look for something, i find more than i expect.

  was mulling over the 1914 thing (607 etc) and discovered :-.

  i thought this was a hoax, then clicked on the link to ''thy kingdom come'' - so now what to believe?

  When I read that for the first time I didn?t want to believe. Then I was frustrated that there were the number 1914 came from. So I learned, (late but I did it); always investigated and questioning everything, like they ?teach us? and like the bible said about the people in Berea.
