i thought it might be a good idea to find out at what age or after how long we descided to leave the watchtower.. prehaps we my find a patern in it which we could use .. i think what we need to know are ,.

1.age you left the watchtower.

yes, i would like to introduce a long standing friend of mine who has stopped attending meetings.

he missed out on education opportunities because he pioneered at 16. he stopped when he was 24. by then it had taken its toll.

it had cost him his marriage.. isp

Who was to blame for the blunder of 1975?

harmageddon was supposed to occur in the fall of 1975, but nothing happened.

who should have taken the blame?

To get the answer go too the horses mouth. If you refer
too the august 15,1968 Watchtower in the bound volume on
page 494 you will see the Title "WHY ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD
TO 1975 ? READ IT AND DRAW YOUR OWN CONCLUSION, OF THE FALSE
PROPHET THAT THE WATCHTOWER IS. SORRY UNABLE TO SCAN IT.

i dont know if you have heard of this one but in revelation it talks about the great crowd standing before the throne rendering sacred service day and night,so what i did is looked in other translations about this and it says great crowd r before the throne in heaven literally and not in a symbolic sense as jws view it.in the greek interlinear i think it uses the word (naos or hieron)and renders it as being literal but surely wouldnt that be upto the translators discernment.does anyone have anymore info on this ta!

this discussion forum has opened my eyes to some of the early writings of the jw faith and how different they are from today.. a while back i decided to read a few pages each week from a publication the was pre rutherford.

i started reading the "finished mystery" volume 7 of the studies of the scriptues this morning.

(while not written by rutherford it was published by him after the death of paster russell).

the pain inside me is often very strong .

because there is much, thats so very wrong .

the hurt comes from the those that claim they love.

Good poem,I wrote many as a jw, when I read
them now I read how unhappy I was as a jw.
I've been out over two years now and the
pain is still inside of me too.I just try to
be thankful how God allowed me to experience
an awakening of the difference between conditional
love and unconditional love.Which would a true christian
practice ? Take care
