Will Adam be forgiven?
by MAHABA in.
according to the watchtower theology, adam will never experiment resurrection for eternal life.. yet, among the early church father's, irenaus of lyon believed that adam would experiment resurrection and forgiveness for his desobedience, on account of the fact that, although created perfect, he has almost no experience at all we being put to the test by the devil.. what is your opinion on that matter?

99.9% of people who believe in God will be destroyed by God
by JH inisn't that sad that all those people who put their trust in god, and did good deads to help one another will all die because they couldn't figure out the "riddle" of the true religion.. i see my old parents go to church (catholic) every week, and they truly believe that they will be saved.
is there a religion that doesn't think that they won't be saved?.
if the witnesses are right, over 99.99% of beleivers will die at armageddon, and 100% of unbelievers will die at armageddon.

What a pitiful god is a god whose king has but very little subject in his kingdom! Prov 14:28In the multitude of people is the king?s honour: but in the lack of people is the destruction of the prince.

HOW WOULD A WITNESS ANSWER THIS?
by Mary ini thought of a question i'd like to ask my sister-in-law (who's a fanatical dub).
i'd like to say to her: "...if it could be proven to you beyond any doubt that this was not the "one true religion", would you still go to the kingdom hall?...
i figure it's a catch-22 that really ought to make them stop and think.

For my part, when I was a witness, I stuck to God, not to the "organization", our "holy Mother"(LOL), So to the question, I use to give the answer, as long as Iam convinced that they are the closest to the Bible, I keep following them. Ivan

My thoughts on hating the WTS.
by kwintestal in" i was thinking today about hating the wts, and you know i really do, and for many reasons which i won't really get into here.. on this thought, i imagined the jwd (jesus' wacky discussion forum) website of 2000 years ago.
i'm sure many of jesus' new followers would start threads about having their hands cut off, being stoned and the secret backroom shenanigans of the pharisees.
all there is, is hate here!

To hate them would be equal to hate myself, because for a long time , I share to a certain extent their thoughts. I think we don't have to hate anybody. Only their wrongdoing. Each one of us is an island which as been assaulted in various way by the WTB&TS. Some of us as been raped from the youth, on a spiritual level, by parents who were trying honestly(for most of them)to teach them by what they believed to be the will of God. Some of us has submitted volontary to spiritual deflowering because we were at that time subjugates by the words we were taught. Some of us have willfully dispised those who where not thinking like us, when whe where JW's. Some of us have go to the point of disfellowship some of our fellowbelievers. So in that case, we have to hope mercy of those who have been harmed by us. Just reflect about those who follow during WWII Hitler, honestly believing that he would be the kind of leader who would brought wealth and hapiness to the German Nation. Our life is too short for consuming it in hatred. Nevertheless I think that for people who have been injured in their flesh and soul by some in or by the WTB&TS,a feeling of hatred is normal. But this feeling have to disseaper, in order for the harmed to be healed. Ivan.

Does the bible teach that man is superior to women or just diffrerent?
by JH in.
looking at how the jw's treat sisters compared to brothers, it would seem that the jw's think that men are superior to women.. is this what the bible really says?.

MAHABA,
have you read the bible?
Yes, many, many times.
An I never felt that God despise these wonderful and lovable creatures that you women are.
Often the viewpoint upon woman in the scriptures is human ,because it relate the life and thoughs of people prevalent at the time of the writing.
Nevertheless the God of the Bible didn't create the first wife to be beaten or despised by Adam.
Neither did it taught to male children to disrespect their mother or sister.
But true, among witnessess a lot of "stronger vessel" think that they are superior.
The love of God toward is creatures is not related to the fact of possessing a penis or not .
We are only different, this is what is so exiting!

Women are portrayed so negatively in the bible
Where?
How can God, if he exist, deny the top of his creative works?

On a biological level he is different, but not superior.
But according to the Bible,on account of to the new state introduced by sin, he is superior on behalf of his superior strenght used in a bad way, not in a way of caring his own, but in a way of selfishness.
Gen3:16 To the woman he said: ?I shall greatly increase the pain of your pregnancy; in birth pangs you will bring forth children, and your craving will be for your husband, and he will dominate you.?

Genesis 2:18 Then the LORD God said, "It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for 1 him.""(Henry)2. How God graciously resolved to provide society for him. The result of this reasoning concerning him was this kind resolution, I will make a help-meet for him; a help like him (so some read it), one of the same nature and the same rank of beings; a help near him (so others), one to cohabit with him, and to be always at hand; a help before him (so others), one that he should look upon with pleasure and delight. Note hence, (1.) In our best state in this world we have need of one another's help; for we are members one of another, and the eye cannot say to the hand, I have no need of thee,
1Co_12:21 . We must therefore be glad to receive help from others, and give help to others, as there is occasion. (2.) It is God only who perfectly knows our wants, and is perfectly able to supply them all, Phi_4:19 . In him alone our help is, and from him are all our helpers. (3.) A suitable wife is a help-meet, and is from the Lord. The relation is then likely to be comfortable when meetness directs and determines the choice, and mutual helpfulness is the constant care and endeavour, 1Co_7:33 , "- So, the man as not been created superior to woman, but disobediance brought forth that bad state.
- In fact man, not only dominate his wife, but also other man.
- Such was not the purpose of God in creating man
- Ecl 8:9 All this I have seen, and there was an applying of my heart to every work that has been done under the sun, [during] the time that man has dominated man to his injury
