  Kingdom Melodies: A Method Of Self-Imprinting?

  i'm trying to find a site that contains the actual lyrics of all the kingdom melodies.

  i have a theory that many contain words that subliminally influence the way that jw's think.

  i believe that the singing and repetition of these words actually results in a type of self-imprinting brain-washing.. if anyone knows of such a site or is able to contribute some typical instances of the afore mentioned subliminal influences i would much appreciate it.. englishman.

  i am a disfellowshipped brother and have never had a problem with the organization's doctrines.

  i am, however, deeply disturbed at the undeniable use of hidden or subliminal images in the illustrations of the wt publications.

  there are so many that it cannot be interpreted as anything other than a deliberate pattern.

  Calling someone a "crackpot" won't help being taken seriously if you want to discuss this subject.

  But I don't think you want to.You just like to pontificate and stuff *your* truth down someone's throat.

  i'm feeling very antsy, i've been waiting for a much bigger "other shoe to drop" since 9/11.. i don't know if it's all the years of the apocalyptic jw thinking but i still live with a haunting fear that the whole works is headed for a spectacular crash.

  i wonder how helpless chinese villagers felt when they saw ghenghis khan's hordes on the horizon heading toward them.

  What Do You Know About The "Illumanati" and "Gray Aliens"???

  this week i ran into 2 people (on the same day) that i know, don't know each other, and they both talked about conspiracies and the role of the "illumanati" and the belief in "gray aliens".

  the one that knew i was a witness congratulated me for my decision to stop attending meetings and believing in the witnesses.

  What did you do to while-a-way the meetings?

  when i was young (sigh) i had to go to the meetings, they always went overtime and man, were they dull.

  no coloured pictures to look at in those days.

  to amuse myself i used to play little games like how long could i hold the radiator pipe (hot).

  In my last year or so as a JW,I sneaked out the hall and went to play the latest video and pinball games

  at the local arcade (This was the early eighties) getting back just in time to hear the closing song

  and prayer while I took my place again at the back.

  Of course this had to come out and one member of my family said "If you're not interested why don't you just stay away?".

  So I did ...
