i recently subscribed for broadband internet 512kbsec which "b.t" provides at 29.99 ( roughly about 50 dollars a month) is that expensive for the uk i think it is,what i want to know is which of you have broadband internet and how much does it cost monthly for your country mmmm im wondering if yours is cheaper.

Over here in the Flemish part of Belgium there is for the moment

only one Cable-Internet provider with a cost of 42 Euro per month.

Limit of 10 Gig,of which 15% upload. (41 USD,64 CAD,29GBP)

the wts likes to put the "c in a circle" symbol on everything they publish.. but why should god's "inspired" writings have to be protected that way?.

to protect it against illegal copying?he and the wts should be pleased .

ok so it always bothered me what a jerk jacob was.

he was a deceptive little cheater, and yet he was favored over his brother?

he used a blatant trick to confuse his obviously blind old father...how is he a biblical hero?.

The biggest jerk is no doubt Jehover himself.Why?
One example:One of his prophets is laughed at by
some children because of being bald.
Jehover's solution? Send out two female bears to
kill the kids.Nice one Jehover!Why not just use your
thundering voice with some nice lightshow effects,and
tell the kids that such a thing is not very nice?
(Why female bears BTW? And why is this "fact"
specifically mentioned instead of just "bears"?)

This way they'll reach alot more people.
To protect it against misuse?If Jehover is behind it and he really exists,
he will see to it that it won't be misused.
And if the WTS is God's channel,why can't I read the *latest* issue
of the WT & Awake in pdf-format from their site?(That is in case I would want to)
I can remember during the district conventions that taperecordings
of the dramas where not allowed,they where copyrighted works.
Copyrighted "Spiritual Food":This is not right somehow...
Compare it with Scientology,all their stuff is also heavily protected.

This to me is proof enough that the WTS is only in it for the money...

Demons

i have a question: as you all know jehovah's witnesses view crystal ball, physics, as demonized or anything that is not suppose to be in the house like tarot cards.

and jehovah's witness believe that the demons would bother them if they do these activities or have them in the house.

do you still believe that or do you think it is the society's way of mind control over their members?

Out of interest I "dabbled" into things like Witchcraft,(Scott Cunningam's
"A Guide For the Solitary Practitioner" is an excellent introduction to this.)
Tarot,Meditation,etc...
I have never been troubled by any demons as described by the WTS.
Clearly it's all scare tactics...
