What show scared you as a kid?
by Been there inposting on wtlies thread i got to thinking about the shows i watched as a kid.
there were a couple that scared the &*^% out of me.
the old twilight zone where the little demon guy was on the airplane wing was really scary.

Anyone remember "The Prisoner"? This British Tv-series had a sphere-like monster in it
that suffocates its victims.As an astmatic kid this scared the hell out of me.
Also some episodes of "Voyage to the bottom of the sea" were scary.
I also can clearly remember that while watching some unknown horror movie on a sunday afternoon
in our local cinema,I got so scared that my older brother had to take me home during the film.
I still don't know what the title of the movie was,but I remember some girl running around in a castle,
an eye in a portrait on the walls that came to life,and dwarfs bothering that same girl...

Why would God want/need worship from you?

if there is a god, why would god want/need worship from you?.
the only people who want to be worshipped or adored by the world tend to be mad dictators and film star etc.its a quality i've always hated the desire to have strangers love you even though they don't know you personnally, and i tend not to like people who look up to celebrities etc who they don't know.. so why would a god want your worship?

for example:God's Wrath,a Loving God,etc...
This makes it easy to manipulate complete populations:
put fear into them if they don't do what "God" want.
("God" being just the handpuppet of the powers that be/were.)A good fictional example is the story of the movie "Stargate"...

What bothers me is that though they tell their material is
copyrighted,they don't tell the reason why.They just say that
copying "is not approved".Not "approved" by who?And Why?
This is "The Truth" we're talking about WTS! It should be spread
and told about to as many people as possible! By any means!
And you copyright it?Does jehover get a percentage of the sales?
Any of you watchtower apologists know a *good* reason why "The Truth"
