For my family...right after we left the JWs it was mid-November. Now, the christmas tree and decorations go up around a week before or after Thanksgiving.

At what age should a person loss their drivers licence?
by free2beme inin my area, in the last year, there has been six people killed in three separate accidents by someone over the age of 70. in two cases, the elderly people lived while the other drivers did not.
in one case the elderly person was killed, as well as the people they hit.
of the six people killed, two were children under the age of five.

I can't see the politicians voting for that. It might be sensible, but not prudent politically.
Not just politicians but the people they represent voting would never vote for that...but I think it's right. Afterall, I think that since over the past couple years since I've had to start using reading glasses I should have to re-take the test---mind you, I don't drive when my eyes get blurry--BUT STILL....all I have to do is re-new wthout testing, yet my eyesight has changed.

I know that there would be a lot of hollering about it here in the US but you know I think people that have received a number of tickets (not parking) should have to take the test over again.
Meant to add "too" at the end of the above sentence. Maybe others are right here stating that re-testing should be done every 5 years or so. I don't think seniors should be humiliated but I also think that everyone (not just seniors) should have to prove they are okay to drive.

people within their own countries borders are fighting their fellow national citizen in the name of their god.
is this a sign that a religious war is coming or just an example of a ever growing populations growing pains?

I think people should be re-tested at retirement age. I know that there would be a lot of hollering about it here in the US but you know I think people that have received a number of tickets (not parking) should have to take the test over again.
I know everyone LOVED the movie Cacoon but it's not discrimination against the elderly to have them take the test over. I would take it over again if I had to --even though I know that just updating my address feels like a pain in the ass. BUT for christsake, the safety of others as well as myself are involved.

I got a 51....I wouldn't say I'm lively or always the center of attention or always considerate and understanding....and I know some people that would never say I always try to cheer them up or help them out.
Dr. Phil is a fraud and so is his test....wow, just by that comment I guess I proved his test wrong.
