  Just finished my last final for my first semester of college!!!

  so i just took my last final for this semester, which was in fact my very first semester of college ever.

  CD- I remember that feeling. It's awesome to say the least. Congrats to you. Just think how you'll feel when it's all over....and trust me, you'll start begging for the end at some point :)

  ok, my bf is witness, and i am studying to become baptized.

  but he and i have sexual control issues that we are trying to work on.

  (we cant keep our hands off eachother and control our desires).

  I'm with IP. Stop now. And stop worrying about what's acceptable by the JWs since they only except any sexual feeling as unnatural--especially if a woman is having it.
  
  For crissake my older brother (not a JW anymore) still thinks women are either virgins or whores.
  Save yourself the trouble and move on.

  jeff- nice article. Mine was when I was 16. it was overdone...too many lights, too many presents, and we ended up with 2 trees...the first one died because we got it just before Thanksgiving and didn't know to add water. BUT it was good, it was the first and last Christmas we had with my grandma (the original apostate from m family)--she was going through treatment for ovarian cancer and passed away 3 months later.
  It was a good Christmas, it even snowed that Christmas Eve.

  could the following scenario be an answer to how all those accepting the mark of the beast are destroyed at armageddon, while thos ehwo refuse the mark were previously martyred?.

  after the first resurrection, those who were martyred are reunited with their physical bodies.

  so can't they be returned to earth and reproduce?

  i came home this morning and my mother and little brother started to hum a tune and asked me if it was a christmas song...turns out it was "carol of the bells".

  and my jw father had been whistling it the night before after he heard it on a commercial.

  when my mother asked him, isn't that a christmas song?

  Jihad

  my (non-jw) son refuses to talk to any of his jw uncles, aunts and cousins.

  his daddy (me) da'd over 30 years ago and has been shunned by the large jw part of his family ever since.. so, in my adult son's words, he had declared jihad on the wtbts and refuses to acknowledge any of them.. he's a successful popular fellow that everyone looks up to.

  they will miss him.
