  Ahh...glad someone else has heard of him and I'm not crazy.
  
  Yeah, didn't he also say at one point that he was in school working towards a phd...even though he's a Witness and shouldn't be schoolin' himself?
  
  The whole lecture thing seemed too weird to me because Jermaine Jackson was the headliner and he was lecturing and meeting with people about Islamic peoples in the US.

  television listings and movie theatres are filled with lots of seasonal films now, and many dvds are also available for films from earlier years.

  i confess to having a difficult time selecting just one.

  among my favorites would have to be christmas vacation, with chevy chase.

  my son show me this link a few month ago and i wanted to share it with you but my post have been deleted because it was taking too much brandwith ... so i only put the link (also take care ... it's an adult website for most of their items) .

  Are people intrinsically good or bad?

  one of the things we were constantly taught as jws was that the vast majority of the world are intrinsically bad; wicked enough to warrant destruction at armageddon.. last xmas, a film "love actually" (sentimental tat really but who says we don't need sentimentality occasionally) was based on the idea that everywhere people are in love and being loved.

  also, a couple of tv documentaries shown recently in uk, michael palin's 'himalaya' and ewan mcgregor's 'long way round' had these intrepid travellers visiting remote corners of the earth.

  it was striking just how friendly and helpful people can be to strangers.

  I think it's kinda weird that Jermaine (convert to Islam) did a lecture type tour in the Middle East (and I think parts of Afriica) and Firpo Carr tagged along.
