I don't know about this. It's a good movie but I have difficulty with the quotes. I guess it's just that I think--just because a woman can pro-create doesn't mean all women should. Some women shouldn't be mothers-- just cause they can doesn't mean they should. Same goes for men being fathers.
I think the movie quote is too idealistic. And other statements like women are less violent I think are wrong too. Glad people look to my gender for romantic ideals about child bearing and peace but I know it's not true. Some of the most violent, verbally abusive and unsavory people I've met have been female. And I've met a lot of people. -

I Feel So Bad.....HELP
by Sunspot ini was so disappointed when i saw that my pm bin had been emptied of something that i wanted desperately to keep!
i have never paid much attention to when the pms get the axe....i am usually done replying etc within a week or two so and haven't kept track of this.. my problem is......i hade exchanged snail-mail addies with some of the posters here, and we had agreed to send christmas cards.
i didn't write the addies down---cuz i knew right where they were and thought i could retrieve them when the time came......they are gone!.

ah, it happens every once in a while. They gotta keep the board fresh right? Keep bttting this so people can get a hold of you and give you their info.
Don't feels so bad. It happens sometimes. Just remember if you get a new address put it on a word file or e-mail it to yourself so it doesn't get lost. -

Very interesting article. I lean towards atheism myself but like Christmas and don't think of it at all in a religious way. I don't like all the "buy me this. buy me that" crap. But it's a good time to be with family and enjoy a large meal.
I've been hearing scattered things about some trying to bring a religious theme back...at least US. Also that people like Bill O'Reilly are claiming Christmas is under attack because people tend to use the term "Happy Holidays." I say "happy holidays" "Happy Thanksgiving" and "merry christmas" and "happy new year" and "happy hannakah" "happy kwanzaa" and "happy" or "enjoy Ramadan"...they all take place in the same two months though...so I usually rely on "Happy Holidays." And it works...because everyone says the same in responxe. -

I've learned that . . .
by Steve Lowry insomeone gave me a little book many years ago that was nothing but one-line sentences, starting with the words, "i've learned that .
" and followed by the age of the author.
some of these little sentences were hilarious such as; " i've learned that if i turn my ice cream cone upside down, i don't have an ice cream cone anymore.
