  No one has a PS2?!

  i have had one since launch of the system, and actually have had 2 more since.. it's a long story.. but yeah i love the system.. so does my roommate because now he doesn't have to go out and buy a dvd player since his broke he just uses the playstation 2.. i'm a gamer.

  607-1914 being phased out?

  years ago, when i first figured out the problems with the 607 chronology, i began to think that the society was mentioning the 7 times link to 1914 less and less in recent pubs.

  after all, the knowledge book gave it less space than the live forever book, and the fluffy require brochure doesnt mention it all.

  could it be, i wondered, that they are gradually phasing this teaching out?

  Last Days?

  i'm just wondering if when anyone else hears people (jw's) say "well we must be living in the last days because look how awful the world is, look how awful people are to each other, look at the earthquakes, etc, etc, etc" that is doesn't really seem to make sense?

  i mean look at the old testament.

  i don't think people could be any crappier to each other than the examples put forth there!

  I'm just wondering if when anyone else hears people (JW's) say "Well we must be living in the last days because look how awful the world is, look how awful people are to each other, look at the earthquakes, etc, etc, etc" That is doesn't really seem to make sense? I mean look at the old testament. I don't think people could be any crappier to each other than the examples put forth there! As far as world events now, I think that things seem worse to people just because of the sheer fact that there are many more people on earth, and thanks to communication (Satellites, TV, Radio, 24 hour news channels, etc.) We just hear about everything that happens around the world all at once!
