She is a baptized JW. I wonder too if they will call her in to talk to her. I don't really care if she's in or out...it doesn't matter to me. I just want her to know why I think the the JW's are no better than anyone else like they claim to be. That's why I tell her the things I've found out. I told her I would stop talking to her about these things if she wanted me to and she told me that she wanted to know the truth.

by oppgirl63 inlast friday my roommate wrote a very nice letter to the elder who told her not to believe everything she reads on the internet.
she basically told them that it was not just on the internet and that it was the truth and she would not be donating any money to finance such a thing.
she also included the 14 page rick mclean case that i printed for her off of silent lambs.

Last Friday my roommate wrote a very nice letter to the elder who told her not to believe everything she reads on the internet. She basically told them that it was not just on the internet and that it was the truth and she would not be donating any money to finance such a thing. She also included the 14 page Rick Mclean case that I printed for her off of Silent Lambs. She put it in a big envelope and stuck it in the Kingdom Hall door. I'm going to take the advice you all gave me last week and contact a few papers to see if I can get a copy of the newpaper sent with the artice in it.

Update! Drew Sagan is no longer a Jehovah's Witness

per the last jc with the elders i realized that all i had done was buy time.
they felt that we should be df'ed right on the spot, but because i made a plea to wait for a letter coming back from the wts they decided to hold on taking such action.

last night, before the meeting started an elder told her not to believe everything she reads on the internet.
she knows it's true but needs some legal documents to show them.. the article she gave them when she wrote the letter was from the houston chronicle.

In addition, I did get an e-mail stating that the Silent Lambs site is the best place to get any copies of the legal documents right now, but more would come in the future.

The article she gave them when she wrote the letter was from the Houston Chronicle. I went to the silent lambs website and printed off the 14 page Rick Mclean case for her. I told her the WTS hates the internet because they can't control it. I also gave her the phone number of Love and Norris (attorneys). I told her to call them...they might not can give her detail information but they can give her some general information about what's going on. Do you guys know of anything else I can give her to show them as proof that this is true? It would problably do no good because these people walk around with their head stuck up there @ss.

Questions For Non-JWs
by sweet pea init just struck me that a lot of what we post comes under "you couldn't make it up"!
so my questions to those of you that aren't jw's or partnered with one - why do you continue to come here, does it entertain/surprise/inform you?

This board is the the best education about JW's I have found. Reading all your life experiences has been a real eye opener for me. I've learned things about the JW that even my roommate didn't know (she did her own research and found out what I was telling her was true). You guys are the best.
