i'm pissed at the wts, but not like bitter or vengeful, but more like the "i'm sick and tired of it and i'm just not going to take it anymore!

let's say it plainly, for once.

jehovah's witnesses deserve to be persecuted.. at one time, jehovah's witnesses suffered terribly in germany and communist countries - but that was a long time ago.. right now, the watchtower's minions are slyly preaching to circuit assemblies about the importance of shunning their ex-witness.

Those in the WBTS, who are fully aware of the fallacious reasonings, perverted counsel and nefarious activity which they have utilized to promote their twisted dogma, should be held accountable. Crimes against humanity wouldn't be too harsh a charge against them, IMO. All one has to do is consider the depression, broken families, mental/physical abuse, suicides, etc. in order to come to that conclusion. Unfortunately, the WBTS has had over a hundred years to network into the establishment, and for that reason the impact of these problems remains relatively unknown to the general public. Did anyone notice that the UN/NGO affair was not revealed by the New York Times, Washington Post, Boston Globe, etc? Maybe someone on this side of the pond "put a lid on it". Would have been a great story for America's interpretive journalists, but for some strrraaaange reason the piranhas didn't get to feed on this one. Hmmmmm.

making 1914 crumble

yet another 1914 thread?

there are plenty of threads already about chronology, babylonian kings, egyptian kings, median and persian kings, there is also lots of information available about old bible-students and jw literature.

even a simplified chronology including "fallen baby" and "evil duck" is available somewhere on this site.

However, there's always the "1914+120 years" formula to consider.

That would seem to be the direction now (or at least until saaaayy 2032, 2033 or so).

One has to remember that the JW R&F are, by and large, captives of a concept, and the over-riding fact is that the WBTS is a very large publishing corporation (and, through kingdom hall osmosis, soon to be a very large real estate corporation) with substantial revenues, thanks to the efforts of the captivated dubs. Granted, R.R. Donnelley still blows 'em away, but the Boys from Bethel are more than happy with their slice of the pie and the accompanying benefits. If necessary, the puzzle pieces will be MADE to fit.

Either we come across the information by accident and continue to watch/read/listen to it with baited breath, OR we get to the point of actually actively seeking info even though we know we could be considering "apostate" literature. Either way, it is our hunger for the truth that leads us to it - which just happens to be the most damndest ironic thing I have experienced in my life.
