  My ex-best friend and his dad, a ministerial servant and elder respectively, where filthy drunks. Of course, when the son got called-out about it, the dad defended him tooth and nail. They went as far as convincing the cong. president that being 'drunk' and 'intoxicated' was not the same thing. They haven't done anything to either of them. And it doesn't surpirse me one bit.

  I pretty much have faded completly now. And hell no, I ain't going to the memorial. I won't even step in a KH for a wedding, or a funeral for that matter. I've had it. Now I'm doing research about gnostic pagan rituals, there is one in particular which involves the passing around of the bread and wine (body & blood of Christ) and denying it by not eating or drinking. Sound familiar?

  At the end they disfellowshipped me!!!

  My sad news

  as some of you on the board knew i was expecting a baby, i feel i should let you know that things have not worked out for us.. when i went for the 20 week ultrasound scan last thursday, severe problems were found with our baby's internal development.

  only one kidney was detected, and it was very enlarged and polycystic.

  there was no long term hope for the baby at all; if it survived to full term it could only live for hours at most.

  My heart and condolences to you. I don't know you, but it is really sad to hear that. But it's great to read that your keeping faith and that you and your husband are stronger together after this. God Bless
