i want to barf.

i was wondering when the hell samuel herd was going to shut up.. blab blab blab.... aren't we wonderful, oh we are so wonderful.. about the only thing that was said that i could see as being something which the gb would see as touchy enough to warant the multiple announcements for " no tape recorders, no video recorders and no computer note taking" would be the statement by herd that there's "going to be a lot off killing, billions will die ....in swift fashion".

and the other gb (fill in the name) who talked about being in the new world "in two hundred years".... wow.. that's leaving enough prophetic lee-way for the gb heirs to the thrones.. much emphasis was placed on the "...two roads to the new system ...the high road and the low road".

I need the actual filled out forms with signatures. The UN also works within the scope of "freedom of information".

Let's get these. I want to see who signed etc... facts are like bricks. Keep putting one on top of the other and soon you have a wall. Then, when someone tries to run rough-shod over you, they hit the wall... and you know the rest.

From Rooter news: Today there was a "special" meeting of the Jehovah's Witnesses at the Pontiac Silverdome. Many were seen dozing off as the primary leader fellas went on about nothing...

How's that for reporting?

Some of you may know that I have been trying hard to free my wife from the mind control of the WTBTS.

Well AMEN. Today I made some serious headway. This UN thing is THE BEST. I need documents and anything else from the UN that shows the details of what is involved in becoming and maintaining status as an NGO.

She is teetering on the edge of life. Please help her to make the step.

annointed, part of this world, war, signs - HELP!

hi, in a continued effort to educate my fiance and open his eyes, i am trying to understand how to refute certain things he has said and get proof of some of the issues that i have read on various threads here over the past week.

please, please, can people answer back on how i should respond.... 1. in franz's book, he doesn't come out and say that he was one of the annointed, but yet he accepted a position as a member of the gb (my fiance spoke to franz last week and asked him a question regarding being annointed, to which franz answered "well, i had the a heavenly hope that i was annointed.." well, that threw my fiance off and now he doubts whether franz ever truly believed he was annointed.

i have told him that noone can ever prove if they were annointed, but he says that the annointed "just know, they have that feeling and know without a doubt that they will be in heaven with god and jesus.

I am a JW serving in a congregation in Canada. I want out. My family life would implode if my wife were even to find out that I read here... never mind post here... and there's more... the books.. the mail ...

You are in a position to act. You are at a fork in the road. take the wrong fork and you are finished.

Either he learns the truth, or you should call it off.

If you get married, and he joins, taking into account that you are educating yourself.. thenat some not to distant point, your marriage will come to the same painful fork in the road and there won't be enough room on either road for two persons.

Keep on him if you really love him, but hold off the nup's.

According to the rules, to become an NGO with the DPI, the Watchtower must have 1) a means of communicating with it's constituents and 2) they must use this means of communication to inform constituents of all things UN.

The Watchtower has not only failed to use their rag to promote the UN, they even neglegted to use it to tell the constituents about their connection with the UN.

The WTBTS MUST BE FORCED TO COMPLY. As a rule of law, even if they now chose to reneg, they must still be FORCED to comply.

COMPLY.... resistance is futile.

Why did you want to be reinstated?

first off, i apologize if this subject has been hashed out before or even lately...i haven't noticed it if it has, but i need to ask it now, as it affects my family as i'm sure it does now, or has in the past, affected many of you here.. i have a daughter who is a very active jw, and a very typical one.

if the wts says it, it has to be so...or if she doesn't down deep agree with it, then god will eventually fix it, but for the time being she is supposed to go along with it....etc.

etc.. this is how she feels about df'ing, da'ing and the resulting shunning..even of a close family member, like her brother whom she adores.

I know a young woman (JW) who was recently re-instated. I guess it was smoking that got her the axe.

Well, she hardly ever went to the meetings before. I am sure that she told the elders where to go when she was caught.

Interestingly, the "emotional blackmail" paid off for the elders. She 'felt the pain' and the friction in her marriage. So ALAKAZAM her atendance was 100%. She kissed some serios elder ass, wiped the chocolate from her face, and got herself re-instated.

I am sure her attendance will continue to be 100% for a little while, such that the elders don't 'annul' her status (can they do that?)

I give her 3 months, and then she will start to trail off.
