  .......get out of the borg.

  she always had nagging doubts during her 10 years as a jw, and when she asked me about why i was not going to meetings anymore she herself started to see the light at the end of the tunnel and gradually asked me more and more questions to help herself out.

  now she's faded out completely, is enjoying her newfound freedom, and tonight just told me that the more reprehensible jw's are "shitheads in sheeps' clothing.

  I have lately had some very good success with my sweetheart too. I layed it on about the UN-WTBTS affair, just briefly, and left it at that. A while after, I came home from work and she hits me with questions about it. Seems that she had gone on the iNet and found out some stuff, and now wanted answers.

  I told her to sit down and I asked heer if she REALLY wanted to know "the answers to those questions".... She siad yes! Our relationship took a turn for the better since then and for the most part, now we talk freely. She proposed quitting the Borg. But I know that she's not "there" yet. So I played it safe. We are still "in" for now, but Dateline commeth and I think this will fix her wagon.

  longo's elder and elderette parents are playing the "politically correct" jw organizational role in their public statement re the prosecuter's decision to seek the death penalty.. .

  In a loooooong stretch of the imagination... what if, when this guy finally makes some kind of public statement, he says "I did it because.." and then we hear some good stuff.

  stephen bates recently wrote an article about the flogging death of a girl in chicago http://www.guardian.co.uk/archive/article/0,4273,4301026,00.html.

  he kindly sent me a copy of a letter he received from the wts office in pennsylvania and gave me permission to post it.

  Bravo! This thread is very, very interesting. I want to express my appreciation to Stephen Bates ofr his consistantly fine way of writing. And humor!... Dutch... go on!

  As a thinking person, and I am sure there are many like me who have followed this thread, I find this kind of discussion most revealing. The facts come out from both sides. Those who reveal the hard hitting truth about the WTS failings and hypocrisy, and also the truth about the blind defensiveness offered by the few WTS supporters who refuse to acknowledge the facts.

  The fact is, the WTS is just being held to it's own judgement. This is fine and typical of "God's Kingdom", as Jesus our KING made it clear that "How you are judging out, you also shall be judged".

  I hope the Governing Body appreciates how well the "Kingdom" is working.

  somebody who has stephen's adress at hand should tell him about the new publico-article!!.

  it speaks about things which are happening today in germany.. i have insider comments and things are getting hot.

  somebody should ask the german branch what they are telling the elders at the school right now lol!

  Letter to all Branches------A Fake?

  many of you are no doubt familiar with the nov.1, 2001 "letter to all branches" putting forth the the library card defense.

  (the letter can be seen at: ) i gave a copy of the letter to a jehovah's witness friend of mine who took it to one of his elders.

  the elder said the letter is a fake because: (1) it is not written on official wt letterhead and (2) watchtower does not send such correspondence via the (eeeevil) internet.

  Adolf Hitler would have been pleased to have such "obedient" men as are JW elders. They do whatever they are told without thinking. They defend their Fuhrertower without reason, just blind devotion. Facts of the Jewish horrors made no difference, and when thrown into a situation where they hade to rape, torture and kill, they went blindly along.

  Then after, they said "we were just following orders".... The Court in the Hague didn't buy it and had them executed!

  No Change in 1991 - Library Card

  i received the folowing two emails from dana loytved who is senior reference librarian at the un library in nyc.. in view of her first reply i asked her what procedure the wts used to access the library before 1991. her second reply is a bit cryptic but she states with confidence that there were no changes in procedure.

  i don't want to pester these kind folks any more.. .

  the procedure for a library pass is the following: the interested party needs to fill out an application form and supply a letter of recommendation in support of the research.

  Thanks Lionel for that research.

  As for Alward, any thinking mind quickly figures out that he is ignorant and trying to defend the Watchtower liars with anything in his bag, including the same manipulation of words that the WTS uses herself.

  It seems to me that Alward is really a JW troll who would willingly commit any act to defend the tower. He is sick.

  my friend just called.

  she is very excited she just received a reply to her letter to ray franz.

  she said that it is about six pages long and not a form letter but a personal correspondance regarding the issues and concerns she had written him about.

  That's great! Yes, Ray will write back. Even when you tell him not to. Last time I wrote, I sent along a little something and I told him that I know he's busy with his book, so that he shouldn't write back this time.

  He still wrote. After that, I called him on the tele and my buddy an I had a good long chat. This fall when I drive down to FLorida, I am going to see if he and Cynthia can meet me on the way through Georgia. I will have my wife with me who knows nothing of it, so maybe they can arrange to be at a stop on the way through. Kind of a "oh hello there, my name is (wink wink)"

  Stratton Ohio letter to public.

  some have read a rough draft of a letter being prepared for the townsfolk of stratton ohio.

  some couche potatoes commented on how it'll never work.. the point is, it is not intended to have an effect on the supreme court descicion in a few weeks.

  it is intended to get the word out by attaching itself to any publicity associated with the stratton case, as well as having the effect of causing grief to both the wellsville congo who preaches there and the governing baffoons.. here it is, but more revised and going to be revised yet further.
