i have had several discussions with a friend of mine whose brother went to km school and he said there was information given about those who no longer attend meetings and are baptized "are sort of viewed as apostates".
i was speaking with a family member of mine concerning this issue and two questions arose: 1. are the notes from the recent km school acurate?

I appreciate these former elders for their help with my questions. They have the knowledge about what went on behind closed doors and are willing to share so that we former, little R&F can understand why things were the way they were. (If that makes sense)

By choice I didn't spend time w/the cliques. I was friendly to all, but had few good friends. Even those good friends as I found out later when I DA myself were only conditional relationships.
I have found true friendship among the heathen "worldly" people. No judging and backbiting and dragging ya down.

hello, have not posted in quite some time.
i put up some st. patrick's decorations at work, including one of those demonized little leprechauns, and enjoyed the look of a jw i work with when she came into the office this morning.
you know the look of pretending they didn't notice those evil holiday decorations?
My husband's mother was pure Irish all the way back. We have 2 auburn-colored hair kids. My daughter's husband is Irish/Scottish/Norwegian and w/my daughter's Irish heritage they have a beautiful, red-haired Catherine who will be 3 in April.

I was in the JW organization for 21 years. I know what their feelings are on dating and dating "unbelievers." I know that you'll get accurate answers to your questions from many here.
Or you can go to the Kingdom Hall and ask one of the elders. They'd be most happy to answer your question.
