  according to a close relative of mine, you were not supposed to reveal the new book study arrangement to anyone.

  it was to be revealed at the k.h., and only there!!!!.

  secondly, there is to be no speculation as to what this new arangement means.........so............. no speculating..............please!!!!!!!.

  i was called an apostate because i knew the "new arrangement" before it was announced.

  this is so funny because this change directly affects how the local elders were screwing me over.

  What is my problem......

  i just got back from a church talent show that my cousin was in.

  but when i hear songs such as " open the eyes of my heart lord" , " i can only imagine" or "jesus take the wheel" why does it make me want to run for the hills?

  i hard the hardest time enjoying the song and ignoring the words.

  hey loosie...

  I get the same way when I hear those phrases. For me it's leftover from the JW days and my own view of organized religion. For others they need formal religion in their lives and those songs and words fill a spiritual need.

  yes, i have what is called c.r.s.

  it has been coming on rather slowly but still it is quite rapidly moving on.

  it started a few years ago, i am 58 , and up until a few months ago hadn't seemed too serious.

  Missed college when you were younger? Here's a good solution!

  at my age i didn't want to spend the next 4-10 years going to college classes after work.

  i have mentioned this in a few popsts but wanted to share this on a new thread so that everyone can find out how easy and cheap it can be to go to college.. i am studying online with cuny (city university of ny).

  tuition is $2165 per semester if you take 4 or more classes.

  Very encouraging and informative thread.. thank you!

  I'm not doing the BA thing, but I am taking courses to be marketable for a different occupation. It's scary and exciting at the same time.

  By me the classes are a mixture of younger students and older. It has been found that this sort of arrangement does benefit everyone.

  I wish everyone success!

  PS... I forgot to say LMAO @ OpenMind. Very clever acronym!
