Maybe they're blind ( don't WANT to see ) to the real needs of the people, i.e. health care, enviormental issues, better education or is it that they just care about the bottom line ?

WHAT'S THE WORST JOB YOU EVER HAD?
by Mary inthe worst one i ever had was working in a frozen chicken factory.
there were about 30 of us in a freezing cold room and my shit job was to feel the half-frozen chicken breasts up, to see if there were any little bones in them.
well after the first 5 minutes my frigging fingers were frozen stiff, so i couldn't tell if there were any bones in there or not........after 20 minutes it felt like my hands were having an out of body experience and if they weren't in front of my frozen face, i would've thought they had dropped off.

The elders instilled the fear of 1975 in my wife ( she came to me in tears trying to convince me I needed to become a JW for the end was near ). Then they came after me , taging me with the name 'goat' after, in good conscience and many meetings with them, I could not accept their Watchtower doctrine and ' design for living'.

The Pres neds to leave SS alone----individual retirement money invested in the stock market for SS purposes may go to corporations like Enron----then, they'll be nothing for anybody.

Does God make you better off financially for putting him first?
by truthseeker ina friend of mine told me that an elder said to him, "i've noticed that all the elders in the congregation are doing well financially, because they put jehovah first.
they have nice cars and big homes.if you put jehovah first, he will take care of you financially.".
i don't believe god does this kind of thing - otherwise, why are there so many poor elders in developing countries who can't even afford a bicycle to get around?

demon attack in Kingdom Hall

i once heard about a sister that was having a lot of trouble with demons, and apparently she had a bad demon attack in the kingdom hall.. anyone else heard of such a thing?
so much for the house of jehovah being some sort of refuge.. i have also heard of a witness who still experienced a demon attack despite calling out jehovah's name aloud.
