What is your job/career? Like it?
by ashitaka ini'm a deskside support guy working for a service company, at one of their contracts.
i enjoy fixing things, although some of the customers could use a good knock on the skull sometimes.. i make pretty decent money for what i am doing.. for me, it's what i've wanted to do my whole life.
i had a computer from the time i was born, and love it since then.. what do you guys do to bring home the bacon?.

After Bethel I went back to school, 2 years. Did not finish my engineering track. Started my own construction business 20 years ago. I do historical restoration, and other remodels. I work for some law firms as their resident expert. I love what I do and make a comfortable living.

Where Does the $$ Come From??
by Dia inmany, many people have lengthy recollections of getting nowhere in field service.. no bible studies, not much placement of magazines or books, especially not for significant cash.. so where is the wts getting all their money from?.
i've been wondering..... are (and were) dubs expected to purchase a certain amount of materials every month and then just take on the responsibility of getting rid of it (and getting back their money) themselves?.
if so, you know what that would mean.... it would mean that the wts's millions mostly come from their own 'flock'.

Did anyone really ever study?
by freedom96 ini know we were taught to study all the wts stuff.
prepare for each meeting, prepare for service, (gotta know the articles) etc.
i mean with all the personal study to do, how could anyone have time for newspapers, novels etc.

Pay Attention:Appealing an appeal?
by Blueblades inunit 5c,page127.when the disfellowshipping is upheld by the appeal committee,there is no further right to appeal.however,if an individual persists in believing a serious error in judgment has occurred, the appeal committee should inform him that he may submit his allegations in writing to the appeal committee within seven days for transmittal to the branch office.the appeal committee will include this statement along with the information being sent to the branch office.
?question:how many are aware that you can appeal an appeal?and dosen't it say ,"there is no further right to appeal.
"then dosen't it say ,'if you are persistent, however,you can appeal an appeal ".notice the second appeal is called an allegation.an assertion made without proof.and then the second appeal which is called an allegation is now called a statement that is being sent to the branch office.hence,the individual has to present evidence that six men have seriously erred in judgment before how many men in position at the branch office without them ever seeing this individual before them personally.and has not the decision already been bound in heaven?

It is very unfortunate when someone is railroaded out on trumped up charges. There never has been any due process within the WTBS because they due what serves them best! If you feel that the elders have not been fair in exercising due diliginance and have slandered your name this way then hire an attorney to have their f____g asses subpoenaed also the wives that have gossiped. It will set you back about 5grand but you will kick ass like no one else in the cong. GO FOR IT!!!!!!

APOSTACY IS WORKING
by hamptonite21 intwo weeks ago all sunday meetings were cancelled in the shirley area here on longisland ny.
a elder meeting was held with the co. my aunt a jdub has informed me that all 4 congregations have had over 7 disfellowshippings in the past month and about 2 dozen since the beginning of the year.
it seems that many of the youth are having sex and allowed to do what ever they want.

lets hope this is catching on. It would please me greatly to see this happen in my area. What kind of spin did the WTBS put on the shakeup? I do believe that the internet will do more to get people out of the WTBS than anything that has come before.

WTS retirement plan
by stichione inas a building inspector in a large city, i also come across inspecting nun's retirement homes.
in fact, working on a special project recently i visited 10 buildings housing anywhere from 60 to 500 nuns each.
i was struck by how well these nuns are taken care of by the catholic church.
