I came home and found my wife and son starting to watch a DVD that was provided to them before the Circuit Overseerer's visit tonight. So I sat down to watch. I must say it was the most BS I have watched in a long time. The whole DVD was dedicated to the glories of the organization. A grand tour of the real estate holdings. Are the dubs asked questions about the DVD? Will the CO expound on the DVD? What a waste of time!

Just as a side note: So many of the elder dubs are retired military and as a conditon of their retirment they MUST agree to be activated back into the military in the case of a national emergency. They are still considered a part of the military as long as they recieve military retirement pay. How many elders have you known that were retired military? Is anything done to them? 30 years ago I knew of a brother who was DA for being drafted, the judicial committee was all retired military!

BETHELITES - Whatever Became of?
by Black Man ini often times wonder what happened to certain bethelites that i ran around with during my 1990s tenure there.
while there are still a few left there, the greater majority of them aren't there for various reasons (marriage, disillusionment, left the borg, etc).
a couple of cats i wonder about - there was one brother who i believe was from kansas, who got his fingers cut off in a printing press.

I often wonder what has happened to so many that I knew at Bethel. Some of them must be old geezers by now, I wonder if they got the boot yet. It would be devestating to them I'm sure.

I think they found Zenke's body along the side of the road with 6 bullet holes in the back............Watchtower Society said it was the worse suicide they had ever seen. (just kidding)
