  i hope the newer generations never forget.the true believers got shamed for it.

  Yeah I remember 1975. I was at Watchtower Farm at that time. I ran one of the printing presses for the Watchtower. Boy I could tell some stories about all the talk at Bethel. I saved some of the lead plates that had the cover of the magazines. Use them as paper weights now. Interesting talking points now when freinds come over.

  The spanish congergations had a lot of empty seats due to the fact that most of them zoomed in. Many were cautious to attend thinking that ICE would raid the hall.

  i would like to start a thread on lies that the watchtower and their reps have told.

  surely we all have one or two that truly sticks out in our memories, no matter how much we would like to forget.

  my favorite wt lie: the reason they don't want to release the name of the "scholars" who worked on the new world translation is because they do not want to accept "glory and honor" from others.

  They put god's name back in the bible. Excuse me but that name was made up by a 13th century monk. It never appeared in the bible.

  What would happen if the religion just straight out gets outed as bad? The ORG admits to it and all the members get told to disperse

  i'm interested to know the age demographics here.

  it must be significantly different to other exjw forums.

  it would be a damning report for watchtower if most of us appear to have left for decades.. you don't have to mention your exact age, you could always say "in my 50s".. i am in my 70s.

  Old enough. Started to deprogram when at Bethel '72-'76. Had to stop the press numberous times with mistakes to the Awake magazine articles. Saw the writing department was not on top of research or attention to detail. This started me on the road to deprogram. Read Ray's book in '86 and was totally PIMO for me. Was POMO in '90.

  JE-sus making a comeback at the 2024 Convention

  attended the friday sesson of the 2024 summer convention.. july 5, 2024 summer convention crowd photo; they invited quite a lot of empty chairs.. .

  the facility usually has 5500-6500. they spun it saying that fewer congregations were assigned.

  there were 6 of the smaller, more distant sections blocked off with tarps to lessen cleaning, which i understand.
