Like the ORG just gives up and comes out saying that all of what they are saying is untrue and that there is no Armageddon, nothing. How do y’all think the the members still in it would react?

There be a mental health crisis I perhaps. People joining other religions? An entire support system to the ex members?

    How would they process it?

The governing body will keep the scam going until the bitter end.

Watchtower won't stop until Caesar shuts them down, and then they will scatter.

To a certain extent that happened to Armstrong's lot after he died. Unfortunately for the JWs the WT is not a single weirdo directing it any more. It's a large amorphous monstrosity that has been designed to outlast the death of any individual. Which is totally paradoxical, when you think about it. Millions then living were supposed to be alive under the new system and the current arrangement would be obsolete.

They'll not be voluntarily dispersing any time; the system is too entrenched. If it collapses, it'll be due to external pressure.

What if I had realized TTATT when I was still a teenager instead of a senior citizen?

What if I had married Ringo Star instead of my ex-husband?

What if I became the next POTUS?

As to the Worldwide Church of God

The Worldwide Church of God (WCG) has split into several churches, including:
    • Philadelphia Church of God (PCG): Founded in 1989 by Gerald Flurry, a former WCG pastor, in response to doctrinal changes
    • Global Church of God (GCG): Founded in 1992 by John Ritenbaugh in response to doctrinal changes
    • United Church of God (UCG): Founded in 1995 by those who wanted to maintain the traditions of Herbert W. Armstrong, the WCG's founder, while others joined the WCG, which supported changes made by Armstrong's successor
    • Church of God International (CGI): Founded by Garner Ted Armstrong in 1978 after he left the WCG

But like. Maybe yes due to external pressure to disperse and then they get labeled as a cult. The ORG gets more exposed in some way and then the government has to disperse them? I want to know how the PIMI would cope
