Went for the food stamp interview

they give you a type of card which can be used in the credit card terminals at grocery store.
the video was common sense things like don't loan your card out, separate your food from non food items.

When I first came to the board, I was out of work. It was the first time I had been out of work since I graduated high-school. Boy, that sure was a tough time in my life. Seems like ages ago though. Things will get better, just keep trying and I'm pretty sure something will come along.
'Round my way we call that food stamp card the Ghetto Visa. When I was young I used to be ashamed to go to the store with my grandma's food stamps. In hindsight, that was like being ashamed to eat. Which is stupid and immature. Foodstamps are a good thing for ppl who need em. Nothing wrong at all with eatin.

If Simon or any other moderator chooses to edit it out, I won't cry about it because having that one little word removed doesn't take anything away from my statement. TH and a few others could learn a thing or two from that.

A Plan to Stop Gun Violence
by Crazy151drinker inok folks here is my plan to reduce the amount of gun violence in the u.s. im sorry but i cannot help out the european countries becuase a) i dont live in europe and b) only naughty people have guns in europe.. ok. i have come to the conclusion that drugs in the u.s. need to be not only de-criminalized but legalized so that they can be taxed.
by legalizing drugs the profit gained by selling them will plummet and it will not be cost effective for gang members and cartels to import/deal drugs in the u.s. and the violence surrounding drugs will vanish as there will be no motive (ie $$$$$) to commit such violence.. ok. now the problems.
1) no one likes to admit they are wrong (especially the govt.).

The government doesn't want to legalize drugs. If you legalize drugs the crime rate goes down and tax revenues will drop. This will result in a big hit to the budgets of law enforcement agencies and the prison boom of the last few years. More of the poor will become enfranchised because there will be no other alternative than to work and try to improve you station in life the old fashioned way, which will lead to more unemployment and more ppl seeking out unemploment benefits and welfare.
The illegal drug trade gives this government a good way to pacify and manipulate it's citizenry. Almost 400,000 African American men were prevented from voting in FLA in the past presidential election. I'll bet any of u a million bucks that the majority of those felony convictions were drug related offenses. You can't do anything with dope money but spend it. So there has to be some impact on the sales tax revenues created from dope dealers who make purchases. ALso the judicial system ensures itself of plenty of business due to the revolving door offenders that the dope game creates. These are lawyers fees, court costs, phone bills, prison operation costs, jobs that the governmet doesn't have to bid out to companies because they get the prisoners to do it. etc..... There is no way that the government on it's own will legalize the dope trade. It's too big an advantage for them.

I think ppl fail to consider the context here. We have a guy who's constantly foul-mouthed both the members and the owner of this board. It's wonder that he even chooses to post here anymore, since he's one of the most vocal critics of the ongoings here. Fact is, the tone of Amazings thread addressed to him was hardly inflaming. Most of the posters ignored any reference to TH and urged Amazing to focus on his health and to ignore any nay-sayers. The dude's reaction was way off base and typical of someone with a chip on their shoulder just waiting for an excuse to go off. He's a grown ass man and that type of behavior shouldn't be tolerated here, because it wouldn't be tolerated elsewhere.

weve been divorced for 2-1/2 years and have had our ups and downs.
because shes a diehard jw and doesnt have grounds to get re-married i get an ear full from her blah...blah.. anyway, one minute shes like "its terrible that i have to wait for you to get married before i can" and then this past weekend she calls me to talk.

Raiders are gonna pound the Tampa defensive line and the Bucs won't be able to stop their pass rush or run effectively against them. Raiders by at least 2 touches.
