  They are making me mental!

  no, not jws (although if i think too long about it, i'm sorely tempted to decorate my car a la christmas and park it at the kh during a meeting... *evil grin* ).

  i belong to a 'non-religious' message board (have since 2001) that seems to have a large proportion of newly-arrived christians on it.

  normally, i could care less if they're there; the topic is not religion, there's plenty of places to post that don't even smack of religion.

  Musicians and athletes piss me off. Whether its accepting a music award or an MVP-type interview immediately post-game, what's the first thing you hear?

  "I'd like to thank God for making this happen."

  For some reason, I find it more annoying when they specifically thank Jesus or Allah by name. Once I heard a football player say, "First I gotta give it up for my man J.C... Jesus Christ!" Not even the frickin' apostles who HUNG OUT WITH JESUS called him that. This was, of course, in response to some specific question about a specific play from the game.

  But I meant alien as in extraterrestrial. You see these shows, like Star Trek, where there's some hot chick from another planet and all she has is a bumpy forehead or spots on her temples, etc. Would that be bestiality, or not?

You mumble along to the opening song, he actually makes it sound like MUSIC. You give your part on the School, but kind of flub your gestures, Prince ROCKS THE HOUSE. Your householder," Jehovah Witnesses? I'm not interested!" His householder, "HOLY $#!+! You're Prince! HELL YES I want a free home Bibly study! You mean Prince will come to my house once a week for FREE? Can I have my friends over, too?"

  in the waterbury conneticut area there was a circut overseer named caramelous (greek name not sure of spelling).

  this brother more than 30 years back was having all the congregation servants removed because they where over weight.

  i guess they used not moderate in habits (eating too much) as a scriptural reason.

  Don't you just love all these OT stories the Watchtower cites about how Whatshisname murdered that fat guy and hid the weapon inside the body and sneaked away, and how Whatshername tricked that other guy, lied and got him drunk, then killed him while he slept by hammering a tent peg into his skull? **But JWs Christians would do well to stay way away from any God-displeasing forms of entertainmet that glorify violence of any kind.**

  Christmas Family Reunion Tarnished by the Borg

  my mother died from breast cancer less than a year after my high school graduation.

  right before her illness she had finally left my abusive step-father and was close to seeing the light about the borg.

  then she got sick and the elders told her she needed to return to her husband or be out of jah's favor.
