last night my ex boyfriend finally admitted to me that he cheated on me whilst we were going out.
we split up about 7 years ago.
what is irking me most is that i've asked him before if he had and he totally denied it.
Why did he choose to tell you this now? What was the point of that?
And after 7 years of him being your Ex, why do you care?
I was married once before my current marriage. My mother didnt like that one either. After I divorced him my mother said to me that he had mostlikely cheated on me. My reply to her was that the marriage is over and done with and I really didnt care anymore if he had.Josie
according to him, they are "afraid of me".
when i told him i've heard this before, i asked him why he felt this way.
he said, "they think you'll go after them legally".
defd says: please i dont not want ot talk to any apostates or disfellowshipped people...Only faithful witness in good standing id talk to. And i will know whos who in a matter of time
Well he's already shown himself to be a hypocrite - so who he speaks to on the board is of no surprise to me.

this was said to me by my mother in the heat of an arguement where she was trying to impress on me that i should show respect to her no matter how she treats me:.
"you'll understand about respecting your parents when you're older.

this thread isn't about spitting on the sidewalk or picking your nose in public.
i am talking about bad thinking habits.
ways of thinking that we learned in order to survive, bad ways of thinking that we learned because of wrong information/wrong beliefs that we had.
She said it had to do with Armageddon, and the fact that as a JW, I was taught that there is no future to prepare for. The early conditioning had impressed on my psyche that nothing in the present mattered, only the hope for Paradise. Also, as JWs, we didn't learn how to make goals, and work towards them. It was all about this week's meetings, FS, etc.

A few years ago, late one night when I was living in an apartment (facing a street) in Oakland, I heard a commotion outside my window. It was so loud it woke me right up. I looked out my window and saw 3 people, 2 women and 1 man. One of the women was walking a dog and was in arguement with the other woman. The man was just standing there. Women without dog attacks Woman with dog. Woman with dog starts screaming. I call out my window that I can see what is going on and I'm calling the cops, which I promptly did. Woman without dog runs for her car, gets in, and hits Woman with dog with her car and then takes off. I get off the phone with the cops and run outside in my jammies and housecoat. Hubby says where are you going? Dont get involved. I say that the Woman with the dog just got hit by a car and I have to go help her. I get down stairs, go outside, and approach the Woman with the dog (the dog has run away by now) she keeps repeating a number (I find out later that she is a San Francisco cop and is repeating her badge number). I put my hands on her and tell her that help is coming, I feel her head and she has a huge bump on the back of her head. The Man that was there approaches and says he didnt do anything, not even asking if the Woman with dog is OK. I stay with the woman until the paramedics and cops come. I give a report to the cops about what I saw. They take the Woman with dog away. I find out later that she is OK and she and her partner send me a card of Thanks.

Oh yeah, the Woman without a dog got arrested and sent to jail for attacking a cop.
Oh, I should also say there were quite a few people peeking out their windows but only 2 people other than myself came outside to see about the Woman with dog.

Mrs. Jones:About the woman? - I worried....I asked a taxi driver this morning if he saw the woman yesterday...he said that an ambulance was there....then it was probably more - maybe it wasn't alcohol.
That woman is on my mind still. I did not like what I saw...to me it was frightening.
I'm having lunch very late. And I got pissed at someone.
Sorry Hibis but I would not have left that poor woman until I knew she was taken care of and I am speaking from experience.
