gill I was raised church of england, my friends later on were born agains, i have studied most christian religions and now begining to study eastern ones. personaly I have studied the worlds things by experience. blind faith is not something I have. I continue each day to proove to myself that what the watchtower prints is the truth. of course there is the weed amongst the wheat class as jesus fortold. thus it takes searching and digging to really find the truth. but seeing that you spend a lot of time debating whether or not things are apostate or not or whether things are right or not does not leave much time to dig or search for the truth within the truth. there were those who sat and heard gill, even though Jesus gave the conclusion that their ears were just ornaments on the side of their heads. but there are those of us whom walk amongst them, the difference is of course that we hear. read Matthew 13:10-17. Gill you left to proove the truth to yourself, perhaps you should really look at this statement, because what I see is the reasoning of a person who denies who they really are. i dont need a bible study at all, but what you will find being that your ears are open is this. paul had to fight against the natural inclination to do what the bible calls sin, he did this by using his mind. however this works in the opposite form as well. some fight to do what the bible calls sin, thus ignoring what the mind says to them is right. you gill are fighting against your own fear, you believe that fear prevents you from being free. what is actually happening is this, satan has used that fear to lead you into rebelling against Jehovah in order to proove to yourself that the truth is the truth. that is the trap, you are doing what satan wants you to do, simply because you wish to proove to yourself that you dont have to be afraid to leave the truth, or to step outside of it for awhile.

Gill you mentioned that you dont want to hurt your mother thats good, i comend you on that, somthing rings a bell such as have honor for your mother and father. well done, with out seeing it you have fulfilled a scripture, yet you say you are not a witness. I say you just bore witness against yourself, in the sense of showing or prooving to yourself that you cant act like a none christian. God is love and you have acted in love towards your mother well done. 40 years as a witness and you did not see that, like i said gill wake up while you have the chance. maybe there are certain things within the organisation that dont fit or dont make sense, i agree. i have suffered the same things myself. but the point of being a christian is acting in love equaly to all. now when you do that you walk with God true? however when you walk with God then deny him as you have done and mock him as you have done then any good catholic will tell you that you are in trouble, not to mention the united church and all the other christain denominations that will agree with that statement. get a life is what you said to me Gill, well before becoming a true christian i had one and while you were a witness i was enjoying all the evill things you were warned against. the strange thing is i have come to be where you once were. get a life gill, i think i can safely say that have tasted more then you would care to know.......!! and believ me gill i can speak from experiencing both sides of the fence, being a witness is only where the true life is, not because i am told but because i have prooved it to myself. while you are busy trying hard to proove to yourself it is not. the mere fact that you have to try so hard to proove it to yourself that it is not the truth is because in your heart and mind you have no doubt that it is. what a contant struggle you must have gill. sounds like the apostle Paul when he said in Romans 7:22, 23; "I really delight in the law of God according to the man I am within, but I behold in my members another Law warring against the law of my mind and leading me captive to sins law that is in my members. so gill you realydelight in doing gods will towards your mother but fight to do sins law according to your flesh in order to show to yourself that the truth is a lie.

I see a lot of armchair experts, but where can you use the bible and show scriptures to back up what you say. come now show me the scriptures and your reasoning on them. or is the bible a scarey place for you to go. perhaps your heart is to afraid to look into the book of gods word. perhaps the truth of the bible is gods word, alive and exerting power, power that scares you to much go there.

I hope for your sake that you dont. changes only took place in the 70's and 80's acording to those who do not have a heart or mind that works together as one to see truth. so let me spell it out for you. to us who see clearly it is not called change but cleanse, please read Titus 2:14, 2 Timothy 2:19. make your self clean ex elder, return to that to which you belong. why should your rpide destroy you.

what a sorry lot you are sitting around debating dates and using that to apostate yourself. May Jehovah forgive your souls, seems like some of you used to be brothers and sisters. dates although correct or incorrect are not the important issue. as christians you should know that imitating christ is the most important issue. perhaps you should spend your time tryoing to do that, and trying to reconstruct your salvation. their is plenty of eveidence to show that this is the time of the end.
