They did do the questions before the wedding about sex etc. Come on now! What couple doesn't do the rubbing thing, making out, and other stuff in the ORG. I know lots that have. Then they give these couples the pre-marital quiz and we all lie our faces off. It's pathetic. It's a problem/system that they themselves have created. I would like to know if there actually are any JW couples that haven't made out before marriage. I mean come on now, let's be honest here!

Marriage question
by starfish422 ini have a question for those who got married in a jw ceremony, or who became jws after being married.
did the elder marrying you, or those studying with you, counsel you as to what forms of sexual intercourse are acceptable within jehovah's loving organization(tm)?
just having a "discussion" of sorts on another board and i'm being challenged by a dutiful jw wife.

No, thank God! I know or at least get the jist and have heard that JW's can't have any fun in bed. No oral sex, nothing. I'm glad my hubby and I never got that damn talk. It would have gone in one ear and out the other anyway! LOL

I have to agree, I always did think he was a weirdo. I mean dressing all in purple like a grape. All the time. Something is wrong with that picture. I wonder how much money he donates to the ORG. I guess that's why they let him get away with stuff now that us little pee ons couldn't. He just may come aboard the forum someday and we'll get to talk to the weirdo himself. He can't be as weird as that Ray of Light(Brownboy) dude. Oh my! A few screws loose there. Maybe Prince and Ray of Light/Brownboy are worshipping buddies?

Should I teach my kids about Santa Claus? (Lie vs. Harmless Fantasy)
by AlmostAtheist inmy wife and i got on a discussion about something i never would've guessed we'd need to.
she wants to teach our new baby about santa claus, easter bunny, & tooth fairy, but i don't.
of course, as witnesses we never would have taught that, and i have to acknowledge that i may only be reasoning using that old set of values.. i don't want to look into my kid's eyes and tell her something that i know for a fact isn't true.

So you don't have to lie to your kids Dave. You can tell them that your friend Chrissie in Canada actually knows Santa and Mrs. Claus. I have coffee with them all the time. Say hi to Gina for me

I used to feel the same way as you Dave. I didn't want to lie to my kids. It's a bit of a funny story. I'll try to make it brief. I've become friends with a couple, our downstairs tenants. It turns out they go to parties and functions every year as Santa and Mrs. Claus. I've never seen such a commotion. Mrs. Claus sews Santas suit and her dresses. She makes everything. She is quite the seemstress. They are in their late 50's and fit the part to a tee. They even bleach their eyebrows. It's unbelievable. I know that they aren't the real Santa and Mrs. Claus but they have so much Christmas spirit and enthusiasm I'm starting to believe that they really are. It's amazing, the stories they tell me of their adventures. The kids that they have helped. Really sick kids. They talk to these kids about Rudolph and the other reindeer. It's enough to make you cry. After meeting them, this wonderful couple and their mission in life, I can't help but believe myself. I don't feel bad at all for celebrating Christmas knowing that my friends are out there doing a world of good for these poor needy kids and people in general. It honestly fills my heart with joy. I get to see them get in there car all dressed up as Santa and Mrs. Claus. Off they go to touch the hearts of many for another day. RHCP (the way they have touched my heart)

I'm really excited about getting these books too. As JW's we could never explore any of this stuff. It sounds juicy and interesting. I definately think that male and female complement each other in every way. Our differences, together make us complete, ONE. When a man and woman Marry they become ONE. It's harmonious. I agree with what the others have said. Terri and Sherri, very wise words. Keep them coming. It's good to learn this. WOW.
