  82 yr old woman seduces 11 yr old boy...

  this happened about 2 yrs ago and the granny (foster mother) confessed she was lonely and her hubby was ill...sooo.. she is facing 3 yrs in prison for sexual intercourse with a minor.

  next we'll hear that he is willing to wait for her so they can be together.

  I think "rape" or "child sexual abuse" are better terms than "seduce" in this case. I belong to a support group for adults who were sexually abused as children and we discussed this. "Seduction" seems to imply that the individuals involved are equal and have a real choice. I have talked to men who even in their 50's find their sexual relationships poisoned by their abuse as children. I hope her victims get the help they need. Blondie

  Here, here blondie you beat me to it! I totally agree it was not seduction, it was rape! I can't imagine what that woman was thinking of!!!!! I was outraged when I heard this story.

  Kudra made the most creative ornament a very cute fluffy mouse which btw will be on our Christmas tree every year and she made it out of a tampon! LOL

  a mormon declared his intention to run for president of the usa.. my wife starts talking about it and says that they are mainstream christianity.

  except for the multiple-wives issue.. i told her that the official church doesn't allow the multiple wives, but i cannot .

  see them as a normal mainstream religion.

  dateline has been running a series of programs on internet child predators.

  just a few months ago, they (along with perverted justice) made an appearance in sleepy little murphy, texas.

  they used a house 2 blocks from where we live (all those evil, wicked apostates who've been to my home should know).. tonight they ran the episode, complete with the arrest of a local school teacher who was trolling after what he thought a 13 year old boy, a neighbor (literally) and a public prosecutor who killed himself rather than be arrested.

  Awe, silly me.......different times, different measures. Glad I can still bring a smile to someones face over my silliness. I know we've talked about this (the "F" bomb) and I do think there is a time and a place and rarely is JWD the place to drop it, rarely.

  I just copied the video but will have to watch it later today, can't wait to see our newest movie starlet!!

  if it's the truth..

  i'm finding online people who tell me that they believe the jw's are the truth.. yet they are living a life which says the exact opposite.

  i'm not talking about people who are trying to fade.

  these are people who specifically say it's the truth.

  I am trying so hard to refrain from asking for some sort of permission to excise these sorts of people from my life. Its something that my whole being just wants to do, because it is so saddening to find people around me who are living these sorts of lives yet are retaining everything I lost.

  I too found this perplexing and for me I found solace in doing my own work to prove/disprove the validity of the Bible. I would recommend you start there. Once you've figured that out the rest is easy and you don't have to exercise the people from your life a you'll be more accepting of them just not their ideology everyone has a right to believe what they want and yes it's sad that they are lead to believe a lie, but you can let it go.

  Wow Nina! Good for you! I sure wish I had watched that but I decided not to watch it as those predator sting programs are taking over the airwaves and I thought ugg, just one more.......darn! Darn! Darn! Darn it all to hell! I hope there is a repeat this summer I'll be sure to watch!

  So proud of you Nina! Chris you are a lucky man.....or Nina is a lucky gal, you two are a very cute couple!
