  as you people don't know who i am or what i can do, i'm going to tell you a little something, i'm having this site closed for breeding religious hatred, believe me i can do it i will be doing this someone better register .

  LMAO! Don't you just love it when someone with absolutely NO power acts like they have all the power in the world to do some damage? People like that just prove how very little they are when they make ridiculous threats like that. Idiots. Besides...shouldn't they be "waiting on Jehovah" to rectify things?

  did anyone see oprah yesterday (wed 3/22)?

  i'm wondering what you thought of it.. the guy named justin cabezas (who killed the woman and her daughter in a car crash by drag racing) was in my high school class.. i just wanted to say he truly is a very nice guy.

  i remember he actually was kind of quiet but very smart and a deep-thinker.

  I don't really remember mercy ever being part of the life of an active JW. I do find that when I have mercy on myself, I have more of a tendency to extend mercy to other people. That's a hard thing for me...forgiving myself.

  I went on a trip across the country and sort of rediscoverd myself. You'll be glad to know that I have been clean for over a year, and have recently started my own business building staircases. For the first time ever I can say that I am truely happy. Thank you so much for the loving words and encouragement. During a time in my life when I felt as if I had been disfellowshipped a second time, I had you guys and didn't even know it untill now. Thank you.

  I'm so happy for you. Like my husband, you are a strong person to overcome this part of your past. It is a journey though...sobriety is never something you attain and get to keep forever. You have to work at it daily. Neil just had his 5 year anniversary earlier this month, but it's been with a lot of work.

  I know you'll do fine if you stick to being true to yourself.

  My daughter on religion

  my 9 y-o daughter regularly rents kid movies.

  yesterday she took the prince of egypt, which is a cartoon version of moses' story.

  as she watched it this afternoon, i was kind of curious of what she would feel about it.

  hello....found out about this forum last year when i was starting to go back to the meets.

  i found real encouraging words that spoke to me at the time.

  they helped me realize that i was going to the meets just to make my family happy again!

  On May 6th, there is a big get together in Dallas. It's a crawfish boil. There will be members from this board as well as other boards, so there will be plenty of people to meet and get to know. You might consider coming.

  well i was given the 2 hour long conversation on "how i am a evil unacceptable person".

  as in my last thread, i stated that my sister went threw my house and found pictures of my children in their halloween costumes.

  You are a beautiful, intelligent, compassionate woman; wonderful wife and a doting mother. Not that it's right, but your sister is speaking out of fear - fear that the WTS has instilled in her. She is scared of where you are going in your life - an independent direction. I know it's no solace, but I'd be proud to have you as my sister and I'd be even prouder to have you as my mother. (Even though I'm older than you! Haha!)

  My daughter had a word with me

  i went to collect my two daughters last night and my eldest (8) wanted to have a private word with me.

  she took me upstairs to her room and said she didnt want me to get her birthday presents as she would be pleasing satan!

  although a little taken aback about the fear and attitude her mother and the wts are instilling in her, i simply asked her if it was her fault that i choose to celebrate the day of my daughters birth, like she has some control over people's gift giving?

  I hate that the JWs state that Jehovah doesn't like birthdays because the two instances of it in the Bible, someone's head was cut off. The Bible never states that Jesus ever peed or took a crap. Does that mean it never happened or that we aren't supposed to either?
