  god has very little to do with the daily lives of most people.. religion has a very strong hold on the majority of people across the world.

  more and more religion has left behind the tenets that have to do with godliness or christlikeness.

  kindness, love, mercy, gone gone gone.

  every month, i go out 1-2 times a month, and amazingly i get about 10 hours, 8-10 mags, 2 rvs per month. i'll never report a bible study because i'd rather kill myself than even suggest i conduct one.(just kidding...i think) i vary the reports so as too look normal.

  Clean break from the WTBT$

  is it better to make a clean break from them or to prolong it?.

  i don't have anything other than my own experience to compare with and i made it clean, fast and hard.

  it hurt like being stabbed in the back by a best friend but the hurt went away to be replaced with wounds and scars that are still healing.. how about your experience in getting out?

  i spent my whole life going door-to-door in this town until i was 38 years old.

  i have been out for over 30 years and no one has ever mentioned me calling at their home.

  see how much we impress the people with the kingdom message.. ken p.

  my wife looked at the caller id and it said jehovahs witness!!!!

  "Witlesses", "JDumbs", other labels.. How do you feel about them?

  i've commented before that the watchtower goes out of its way to label groups of people it doesn't want you to like -- "worldly people", "apostates", "christendom".

  there are scores of these labels.. people in general use them too: "spick", "n*gger", "trailer trash".

  once we allow ourselves to refer to people by a label, we automatically change them from an individual to a member of a group.

  make fun of the org. all you want, but some of the terms can be too personal. im a witness and im not really dumb nor witless, and many fit into the same category as i do. making fun of gods name, whether jehovah is absolutely correct or not, is offensive to me personally. it's still making fun of god. i dont care to cross that line.
