i can not say the word "potato".
it's true, i have sinned against the english language.. then he tells me, you say "badado" .
now that i'm aware of my mispronounciation it's worse because it's very obvious i am trying to say it correctly.

we had a weekend away a couple of weeks ago.
i took a few classic dvd's along in case the weather turned sour.. so i watched ghost with demi moore, that pottery scene has to be one of my favourite ever..........gives me goosebumps!
but it's not my favourite movie of all time/ i'm embarrassed to admit it, but ok i will, cause i'm with friends!

i have observed some people drifting away from the watchtower who will acknowledge that most witness beliefs are false.. however, they may still cling to "neutrality" as a means of assuring themselves that "it's still the truth".
the witness idea of neutrality is naive.
as entire nations now mobilize for wars, the idea that you are somehow 'not part of it'.
thanx for this post. ive always admired witnesses for their stand regarding warfare, which, for the record i'm against, but you made some valid points. i'll have to reevaluate my stance. that's what this forum is good for. whether you are a dub(which i currently am) or not, having a closed mind is a waste of a mind.
while lurking, fading, or like me, a disgruntled dud who wishes to remain anonymous, found out that a fellow poster was a relative, friend, or just someone you knew?
i found out about one when i first registered and eventually revealed myself because i trust this person.
i just found another one that i dont trust at all!

looking back at the 10 or so cases of disfellowshipping i recall, i think only 1 was due to the orwellian borg spy system.
he was ratted out.. all the other cases were actually "confessions" by people that otherwise would have gotten away with it.
i am wondering is these percentages.
i ratted out my own self. both times.
my answer would have gotten lost after 4 pages of actual on-topic discussion.
slugga: is that a real wolf pup?
and the puma, aren't its claws dangerous?.
i envy you.
a special tribute
on december 20, 2005, i lost someone very dear to me.
until now, i havent been able to speak of his death and its still almost too fresh and painful to write about even today.
Swalker
sorry for your loss. as a proud daddy to three dogs that i love, and having to put to sleep my first dog a few years ago, i know how close we get to those lovable furry creatures.
marley and me is a grat book. i couldnt help but notice a comparison to the book and heving a dog. the book was 15 or so chapters that make you laugh 'til you cry; the last chapter you cry due to sadness. with a dog, you get 15 or so years of bliss, and then with the last chapter of their life, sadness. sadness, along with great memories. i think its a good trade off, dont you?
peace
one at a time.
guess the qoute above you and give one for the next person.
