my dad was an elder 'till he died, he was po at the time. he was a great dad and a very dedicated elder. he was genuinely concerned with people. yes, he was a wholehearted believer and would not like what i think now, if i told him. but he was one of the few good guys and i miss him. yes, im prejudiced, but i promise if you took a survey of our circuit, most if not all, would agree with me. sorry for those who weren't as lucky as i was.

by oompa inwell mine sure as hell has......i first started cussin worse than a sailor.....then i realized that i had led a double life since third grade anyway...so why stop now just because i totally woke up...and my jw wife is still a zombie?....and since i am now a fukkin master at compartmentalizing....ya... just put all the crap in a box.....i can pretty much do anything....and live with it...put it away in a box...... so hate me already........but anybody else go through this??...............oompa.
and ya...btw.......i so fukkin hate this double life....dont know how long i can do this..........

by AllTimeJeff ini wonder if the governing body (gb) knows the trouble the whole thing started..... to be sure, when the gb put into effect that all congregations of jehovah's witnesses were to have a body of elders that is in existence today, their goal was to meet their own ends.
under a sub heading "gearing up for explosive growth" in their history book "jehovah's witnesses - proclaimers of god's kingdom" they stated..... ***.
jehovahs servants were determined to continue to yield to divine direction.

im not a former elder but a former ministerial servant who had many privileges usually given to elders, such as book study conductor, second school overseer, as well as many public talks, parts on service meeting, etc. i was deleted about 7 years ago, still am "active", but do as little as possible. the pressure has been on to "reach out" for the past two years. our body has 3 elders in 70-80's, 2 in 60's, 4 in 50's, 2 in 30-40's and one servant in 70's, one in 60's, and one in 80's, and 2 young bucks. our congregation is 75 percent over 55 years, about half of those over 65. its dying fast, sometimes literally(unfortunately). most of the young leave when they get old enough, if they dont fall out of the truth first. the last 2 co visits have really stressed the need for new servants and elders and the brothers really bring it up with me a lot. they dont seem to understand that i have NO DESIRE AT ALL TO DO IT. snakes explained my reasons, along with the fact that i dont really believe it anymore.

by OUTLAW inlast night was the premiere of the tv show "lie to me'..............it`s about a long haired jw kid,that may have killed his teacher..........he`s basicly a good kid..he`s on the school sports team and stalks his teacher..he`s crazy about her,he follows her around and takes pictures of her..he`s even got a picture of her,dead on the sofa.............when he`s brought in for questioning,he`s asked how he felt when he heard about her death..he said:"i prayed for her soul"(only long haired jw kids on school sports teams are allowed to pray for someones soul!..lol!!

?...he loves the lord!..he says lord and god a lot!..he seems to avoid the name jehovah through the entire show.......no one in the kingdom hall likes the dad,because he is a zealous jehovah`s witness!!

Deconstructing Apostasy - New Video
