can anyone tell me the date when the wt teaching of fds's appointment over master's belongings became an official doctrine of the society?
was it a new 'truth' revealed in a wt circa 1914/19, or was the doctrine developed piecemeal in hindsight because subsequent events seemed to indicate it?

opps! i replied to the first post. they were "dissapproved associates", and the WTS abandoned tha practice after about 2-3 years. this was in the mid 1980"s. ihad family and friends who had this happened to them.

this ended as there supposedly a lawsuit in ny w/a person who experienced this.

Can brothers wear "bow ties" instead of "ties"?
by JH inyesterday, a brother from another congregation gave the talk.
the first thing that i noticed was that he was wearing a "bow tie" instead of a conventional tie.
he was also black.

there's a co in north carolina now that wears a bow tie in the congo and at the circuit and (if i remember correctly) the district assembly. i think his name is campbell. i think he's from texas.
