To serving elders and anyone else who went to the SM this week ...
by wannabefree injw serving elders ... did any of you have to handle the part at the sm this week on why jehovah's witnesses are not a false prophet?.
this part made me livid.
our most corporate elder handled this part and i felt my self wanting to refute everything he said.

the reasoning books "reasoning" is, if i understand correctly, strawman logic. it never answers the question, and immediately starts tooting thier own horn about some things they may or may not have right. just because you MAY have gotten some things right while still making predictions that don't come true, means you are falsely prophesying!

To those still "active", what makes you keep going to meetings?
by Cindi_67 ini've been reading a lot of posts and a lot of you here on the board, are "active" members, attend all meetings and conventions, go out in field service, even help with quick builds.
i don't want this to sound like i am disrespecting anybody, but what makes you lead a double life?
doesn't anybody at the hall notice your lack of interest?

If You Still "Had" To Go To Meetings What "Disrespectful" Things Might You Do?
by minimus ini know some who go to meetings because they feel they have to because of family or other considerations.. imagine going to a meeting and having your iphone with you!.
how would it look if you had a watchtower in your hands along with a tv guide?.
think about going to a meeting with strong booze breath.. any other suggestions?
