Would you legalize Polygamy?
by sammielee24 init appears that so far almost 300 of the cases from the texas raid have been investigated and dropped.
one girl - the one who has wed to jessop, was placed in foster care.. removing the isolationist tendancies of the mormon group and that specific religion - if the state wanted to legalize polygamy, would you agree or disagree?
the issue of gay marriages has come up and been voted on - but if people could legally wed as adults and have more than one wife, complete with the responsibilities that legal marriages come with - what would the objection be?

- "Nos, I need you to go back and speak with Ron again. I understand the trials and tribulations associated with paperwork but, we really need that extra week to address the succession of your position. After ten [10] years, I don’t think this is too much to ask. We would never have terminated your employment with LV with only a 2-week notice period.
If it would be easier for you, I can contact Ron directly to discuss the extra week. Please let me know how you would like us to proceed."Oh hell no. That is not YOUR responsibility.
"Sorry, but they want me to start right away." Period. -

Listen to what Joe himself said today... LOL!
"HOLLAND, Ohio - Joe the Plumber said Thursday he doesn't have a license and doesn't need one. Joe Wurzelbacher, better known as Joe the Plumber, the nickname Republican John McCain bestowed on him during Wednesday's presidential debate, said he works for a small plumbing company that does residential work. Because he works for someone else, he doesn't need a license, he said."
He's an apprentice and owns a 150K house, yet he's going to buy a company that makes 250K a year! LOL!
Wurzelbacher, 34, said he doesn't have a good plan put together on how he would buy Newell Plumbing and Heating in nearby Toledo.
He said the business consists of owner Al Newell and him. Wurzelbacher said he's worked there for six years and that the two have talked about his taking it over at some point.
"There's a lot I've got to learn," he said.
Not only does Joe not have the money to buy Newell Plumbing, he's a damned apprentice! An unlicenced apprentice! And the company has only 2 employees! I find it hard to believe this company makes 250K a year!
Bye Bye Burns, once again the facts are out and prove you false!Exactly! He wants to make $250K a year (who doesn't). What an idiot. He was on Good Morning America today. McCain should ensure we all make $250K a year and then he can have most of us vote against Obama. How stupid for him to have even been mentioned last night.

What Makes a Person Vulnerable to Join a Cult ? By Steve Hassan
by flipper inmost of us often wonder with amazement how we ever got caught up in the jehovah's witnesses mind control after having been out for awhile.
and we still wonder how some of our relatives stay trapped inside it.
well, steve hassans book " releasing the bonds " explains briefly in chapter 4 how it can happen.

The Steps Between JWism and Atheism
by compound complex ingreetings, friends:.
i recently put up a thread entitled "when can i comment?
" new to the thought process of critical thinking, i have felt overwhelmed by the wealth of information now available to a mind opened up to society-banned material.

What about those that become atheist and later change? Atheism is not a final destination for all.
BTS
I would love for someone to start a thread on that and speak of their own experience for my curiousity.
