If you think about it "Civilization" hasn't been around for to long. If we humans are millions of years old then why is civilization so young? and Real history so new in comparison.
Since when was civilization considered to be "young"? Civilization, perhaps how YOU know it and the one YOU live in can be considered young. That is what you might consider civilization to be, but it in itself has existed far longer than you acknowledge. Just because life once revolved around trading tools for anise or poppy does not mean it was not civilization of its own time.

Humans have been around for millions of years. We know this by reading material on real archeological digs/discoveries that are not titled Awake or The Watchtower. The evidence is there. Denying it and believing something else does not mean 6000 years is correct. Of course, if it's not correct (which it isn't), then their numbers timeline is thrown off completely.

Are Witnesses Sexually Normal?

jws are obsessed with sex and sexual sins.

the elders are specifically told what classification a sexual sin falls into.

touching the breasts, genitals, looking at porn, looking at various types of pornography, kissing, petting-----you name it----it is technically classified so that the elders know which charge they can hit you with judicially.. even if you're married, the watchtower disapproves of certain consensual sex acts.

My question is, are JWs actually "normal" from a "worldly" standard or are they abnormal?
Horrendously abnormal, once a "worldly" person learns more and more about their beliefs without holding a desire to convert.
They only use their words wisely around "worldly" to give the appearance of being normal and justified at that.
People can make up their own minds about sex and what kinds of sex they enjoy (adult-adult I am referring to). Having to live every breathing thought about your next orgasm or lack thereof with regard to others' standards (WT here) is the complete opposite of normal!
They probably write exactly what they don't want to think about is going on when ppl leave the kh's, and then go relieve themself of that stress with a towel nearby. That's a worldy P.O.V. for ya.

Any other exhausted moms out there?

i was wondering if there are any other moms out there who don't get much sleep or time alone.

Love & hug your kid each and every day as a blessing because if you don't and you ever lose a child to death you will torment yourself for the rest of your life; for not appreciating them despite they drive you crazy with their demands. You only have once chance in each moment, tired or not.
Yes...I love every second of it! Those words are why I make sure to stay awake when I come home from work--what keeps me going-that is exactly how I think and view them.
LOL I would give anything to be exhausted from my kids rather than work and driving! :)

I'm exhausted because I work full time and have to drive a lot each way. I'm too tired for my kids most nights and make the most of their time on weekends. It's hard to make myself available rather than pass out once I walk through the door during the week, but I do it. Mine are 8 and 6.
