Isn't that part of the adventure in 'finding out'?
I don't know but I'll see where it all leads.
I think many have seen links with the WT and mind control / brainwashing. They have early links with occult traditions, ie early WTs and their templar symbolism, 'the Tower' theory, Franz's ouija board dabblings etc...I'm sure you're aware of as many WT occult potential links.
The fact that a Russell set up the WT Society and the Russells were responsible for Skull and Bones etc
However, I dispute (gently ), that they never say New World Order.. I have memories of talks and reading about looking forward to the New World Order, but not the literature to search it I'm afraid.

I am sure, that Satan, if he exists, does not give a flying fart what colour he is represented with.
However, it is people who celebrate these beliefs that are the problem....whether the beliefs are true, or correct.....or not!

Very interesting.
Can't put anything past the WT society as they are capable of anything.
I would ask all to keep and open mind and not immeadiately flinch and scoff at the phrase 'Satanic Ritual.'
There are people who believe and practice these things whether they are real or not and THAT is what we should all be concerned about.
The lives that the WT touches are always harmed in one way or another, and idt is the end result that matters. With the WT it tends to be misery, control and a waste of life.

Blondie - Maybe, but I have never found them as 'simple' as that.
They are layered in complexity and secrecy.
A good deal in the price of ink is a possibility, but for an organization that supposedly disapproves and condemns numerology, they use a lot of loaded spiritual numerology ie 7 means this, and 10 means that , in their literature.

NeoMadman - I believe that the religious followers going back in time who worship Set/ Satan/ Moloch/ Lucifer etc and all the other names of 'the evil spirit' of Satanistic religions assigned this colour to their God.

Yknot - My mum is like you and still carrys her green bible even though she has been told several times by elders to get rid of it. (Must be where I get my rebellious nature from!)
But, as a young JW I remember many times at the doors being told that green was a very bad colour for a bible because it was 'satan's colour'.
But of course.....being in the only true religion, we thought they knew not what they were saying.

by mouthy inwhen i tuned in ( late) to the conferance call last night.
barbara anderson was on & believe me blew my mind about the lies in the wt.
when i was "ousted"in 1987 i was out "in the world" still believing it was the truth.

by oompa ini have only a handful of my dear jw friends left....and jw friends are all i ever had once i got out of high school (had a hellofa good double life there)......but i have found that the few i have left...and damm good people, really.......do not shun me because i have been open with them about my new understandings of the truth...or what i thought was the truth....and they understand why my faith is shot to hell.....even my elder/dad and my other elder friends....and they do not admit it....but i know their faith is shakey too......................oompa
