40Free Literature at the Kingdom Hall
by frankiespeakin ini was thinking for all you guys who go the kingdom hall even though you know it's not the truth,, in order to keep from loosing all your friends and family,, why not take advantage of the wt free literature at your kh?
i mean the wt is forcing you to go to meetings with the threat of being outcasted from your family why not put a little dent in their finances but getting all the free literature you can and not contibuting anything for it.
after all the wt is offering it free of charge.

JWs That Only Attend Sunday Meetings?

How about JW's that only attend once a year!!!!!
That's for the memorial, just incase Armageddon does come in the next year. They can always say that they did appreciate Christ's sacrifice, after all this is the MOST IMPORTANT meeting in the JW calender year.

members won't be presenting this mag..........it's a touchy subject, not to mention the advice in the awake isn't any different than advice from dr. phil, oprah, etc... etc........... one interesting obversation- at the end of the article it doens't say to just "wait on god's kingdom".........this is how the very last paragraph goes.......... "where there's a will, there's a way.
do you have the motivation to do something about it?

if you are not feeling well, have a headache, a backache, whatever but you would go to work but didn't go to a meeting or in "field service"---then you "sinned" against jehovah.....any others?

Not preaching at everyone they meet or 'warning them of the great day of God the Almighty'. If this person they have met is not warned, then the witness, or in this case the witness who failed to witness, would be blood guilty if the unbeliever had not been warned and then was destroyed. The failed witness would suffer the same fate. Hence the zeal in the preaching work!
Salvation of self is a strong motivation and why, 'before it's too late' tends to come up inconversation with a witness a lot.

i was looking at my old "all scripture inspired" book, and i say old because it was the first edition from 1963 and i had used it for years.
according to the wt cd there were revisions in 1983 and 1990. i came across this little goodie under the book of daniel.

I can tell you like me really. You only have lovely things to say about me, and you don't even know me. I knew my charm would show up on the net!
As for going 'back' before it's too late, didn't I ask you to stop with that 'repent,repent, repent, before it's too late. I've heard my CD player do that sometimes when it's acting up.
The fact is Stecka, are you my Mum by any chance???? No? Well all right, but you sure sound like her. I have not left the Witnesses because of anything that someone's done to me but because I wanted to prove to myself that it was all true and that we would all live forever in paradise on earth and the 'end is nigh.
Now you go and prove it for yourself. Let me know when you've done a SIGNIFICANT amount of 'worldly' or secular research.
Remember, love, blind faith is not enough. It's NOT enough.

Hypocrasy?? Could it be?

had a "discussion" with my ex the other day, in which i asked him to stop telling our son that birthdays/pumpkins/santa and whatever else were "bad" as he was more or less telling our son that my beliefs are wrong.
of course he says he's only teaching him "truth from the bible" i asked him to point out to me where in the blble it says you can't celebrate these things, he couldn't.

It's like this 'Seeking Knowledge': put yourself in his shoes. To him you're dead meat walking. Armageddon's on the horizon coming 'any day now' and he doesn't want to see his son's body on that pile of rotting corpses just destroyed by his God. So, that being the case, it's not going to make too much difference to him what reasonings you might come up with. HE HAS TO SAVE HIS SON!
Just imaging that Armageddon were to arrive on the day of your son's birthday and you had all your celebration gear up, balloons, cards, pressies, cake, what would the angel of God think! You'd be in for it no two ways about it. Do you see his problem.
It's a BIG one isn't it. That's the problem all us ex JW's have with our relatives.

Needing to go for a wee during the meeting is definitely a sin. Your children needing to go to the toilet also is a sin. Pissing in your seat is an absolute 'no, no'!!!
IIf you've been bad and had to use the toilet then you MUST NOT DRIBBLE AT ALL ON ANYTHING.
At one congregation meeting a circuit overseer announced that his dear old wife had noticed that sometimes the sisters left a spot of dribble on the seat when they'd finished and this must not happen again. He recited a rhyme to help us incontinent sisters remember: If you chance to need a widdle, make sure that you do not dribble!!!!
Poet laureate material he was. Any way this sister who was a friend of mine told me on the service a couple of days later that she had been into the toilet after the CO's wife and what did she see?!!!! Shock! Horror! A dribble!!!!
Now that's what I call a sin!!!!!!!!!!
