Here you go again, trying to label people becouse of the religion they have. At least they know Jehovah's name. And do what Jesus said to do, put away the sword. They don't get AIDS and they don't kill babies. What else can be shown that JW's have Ethics?

I have been able to back up most of the topics that I have started. The ExJW book thing was a mistake since the information is simply not available or useful for any Bible followers. Plus if you want revenge you don't turn yourself into a circus.
Here is my revenge:
Think of Jehovah's Organization as Kingdom proclaimers and peacekeepers. Disfellowshipping is one of the ways to keep God's Organization clean. Too bad the churches don't feel the same. They may try to fix the problem but with dire results. The church is with the Wild beast but the Wild Beast will end up eating the Harlot, so says the Bible. Why do I say that you may ask? I know that because I read the Bible and I know it is from God. It is an ethical value judgment that I made. I don't expect anyone to make that same judgment. It is up to them. If Jehovah was backing them up they would be done fighting wars long ago.
Having no religion would eliminate the complexities and values at stake. Thus being able to make any kind of a choice that floats your boat. Trying to discredit me on this forum is not justified. It is my opinion. No one wants to watch the Watchtower except JWs. To bad there are so many spiritually weak people posting abusive speech.
Therefore it would be safe to say that having a religion would make a situation that may present you with an agonizing choice. It makes you have to decide what is good or bad. JW's are told principles by Jehovah and not any rules. No religion will tell you do this or we will not teach you how to love God. Choosing the path of less resistance is for the weak. I'm not trying to please the Governing Body at all. I am trying to please Jehovah.

by minimus ini have read many opinions about jw's being a cult.a dictionary describes cult as a system of religious beliefs and ritual .. some have viewed even major religions as a cult, such as the roman catholic church.based upon webster almost anybody or anything that is viewed as ritualistic could be said to be cultic.when someone tries to negate jehovah's witnesses by using.
the "cult" word, i believe they are not seeing that many others could legitimately be regarded as a cult or at least "cultic".therefore the word loses alot of meaning.
some have said that the watchtower is a cult because of the control factor.

Thanks for your constructive criticism detective. To those who do not like that control factor can be explained. Another point I would like to make that is about control. No one likes to be disciplined, it does not feel good. But it is important to have, it especially in these last days.
It is vital to have the whole picture to come up with the right choice. Many people are not Jehovah's Witnesses for a reason. I would not like someone coming to my door with a Bible, I can understand that. But sometimes you can figure out who has the pants in the family, it's true.

Saying that this orginization or that orginization is an accult can be explained by way of the Bible. If someone rests all of thier hope in one orginization instead of the Bible then it will lead to being mislead.
Here is what the 1992 10/ 1 6 Watchtower Wrote, "WHAT is a messiah? The words "savior," "redeemer," and "leader" may come to mind. Many people think that a messiah is a figure who inspires hope and devotion in his followers, promising to lead them from oppression to freedom. Since human history is largely a history of oppression, it is not surprising that more than a few such messiahs have emerged over the centuries. (Compare Ecclesiastes 8:9.) But like the self-styled Moses of Crete, these messiahs have more often led their followers to disappointment and disaster than to liberation."A leader would have to be a figure who inspires hope and devotion in his followers with a condition of leading them out of oppression. The people who write what the people want to hear will attract a certain audience. The book from Raymond Franz attracted alot of ExJW's. So he made a few sales so that he can keep them in circulation and it did well. There had to be a real need for such a book at the time. Any Orginization that is new and different will have trouble at one time or another. This is why the road to life is small. The problem with such an Orginization leading people to freedom is that most people will think in terms of what can I get out of life now. That is why the Watchtower Society has people that have been disappointed.

Understanding the Lord's Prayer.

page 5 and 6.. to see the difference between having an accurate knowledge of the bible and having a passing acquaintance with what it says, let us consider what is commonly called the our father, or the lord's prayer, recorded at mathew 6:9-13.. millions regularly recite jesus' model prayer in church.
but how many have been taught its meaning, especially the first part of the prayer dealing with god's name and kingdom?

It is a good idea and well made flash movie. A Modern version would work well. It is not the Lords Prayer that comes to mind. It does have great music and well done with pictures. But it seems to be made to put someone at a calm mood, which is the way of God. Life was made to be so easy and it is a refreshing movie. It brings to mind how much Jehovah loves mankind; To have his son come down to die for us.
