for those with pimi jw family and jw business connections, it may not be wise to share such a letter, but i imagine it must be very freeing to send such a letter.

Where is Tony?
by Athanasius inon february 22, 2023, anthony morris iii was officially removed from the governing body of jehovah's witnesses.
a few months later it was revealed that the watchtower bought him a house in lumberton, north carolina.. however, and correct me if i am wrong, since leaving the gb nobody has reported seeing tony attending jw meetings or participating in field service.
in fact nobody has reported seeing him anywhere, not even at a local liquor store.

My parents didn't take the vax, Dad is an elder, and neither did some of the other elders and their families.
So your parents can’t go to any JW schools or special meetings? They would just lie about having been vaccinated...elders lie?! Unless they had to present a valid shot document (I doubt it).

Is Watchtower totally off base on Armageddon?
by Vanderhoven7 into me it is quite evident that the gt spoken about in matthew 24, mark 13 and luke 21 is a one time, non-repeatable localized event resulting in the destruction of jerusalem and the temple followed by the dispersion of surviving jews throughout the nations.. however, what is not so clear to most is that the gt of revelation deals with the same event.
my understanding is that the gb of jehovah witnesses has no clue as to how to interpret the apocalyptic messages found both in the synoptics and revelation.
but steve greg has armageddon down pat.

Beth Sarim, good answer, it is hard to explain to a non-jw because they have not been brainwashed to accept the "adjustment" and "clarification" concept of interpretation by the WTS. They say they do not speak for their god, but in essence they do, implying what they say should not be questioned even if "seems" wrong. How could you expect a non-jw to accept any explanation the WTS makes for the changes. One of my aha moments. Can't their god get it right the first time!

Sorcery = Pharmakeia

the gist of it is that sorcery involves drugs/medicines/poisons, with or without spells, sorcery is not the same as witchcraft or divination, or white/black magic.
i have long wondered about the connection between the medical/pharmaceutical industry's symbol of the serpent wrapped around a pole/stake, and the use of the word pharmaceuticals/pharmacy.. considering the common use of fluoride in public drinking water, nsaids with side effects such as depression, brain fog, dizziness, and opioids, mrna gene therapy, vaccines and so on, i wonder am i going mad, are these all coincidences??

GL Tirebiter, I agree, I remember Armstrong being talked about by some jws as having doctrines similar to the WTS. Then the schism came later and some beliefs became more "conventional." I saw one of their "advertising" shows and realized that things had changed and looked it up on the link you posted. Yes, the WTS has been changing all along, "adjusting" and "clarifying" policies and doctrines, or just stop mentioning them in the publications till that generation goes by. Ask anyone born after 1975 what they think about that teaching, compared to those of us who lived through it from 1966 to 1976 and beyond.
