by Elsewhere in.
if it were not for all of the very hard work that simon does behind the scenes to keep this forum up, much of the other work others are doing could never have happened.. this site serves as an excellent central location for us all to communicate and exchange thoughts and ideas about how to expose the evil ways of the wts.. simon, thank you very much!

KH construction in Mexico
by flag ini recently went to mexico for vacation and my sister in law told me that they were constructing a new kh.. i questioned her on how was it done, and this is what she told me:.
they saved the money for long time, then they sent the money to the wt.. wt then bought the land and the materials (but everyting is under wt name).
all brothers and sisters will work for free.. after everything is completed they still have to pay a "suggested contribution" to the wt for the use of the kh.. i think the law in mexico recently changed and now the wt can own property that is why they are pretty active building kh's.

If they're soooo interested in owning the land, then why don't they wait until after armageddon. That way they can have all the land they want.

Those kinda people are a big thorn on your back. They think they're not judging you, but they do it all the time. Kinda hard to even talk to them, even though you love them.

What about the Children?
by seek2find insomething that's really been eating at me latley is how during my growing up in the orginazation and now my childrens growing up in it, nothing has been done on an organizational level to benifit the children.
why has there never been any organizational focus on the need for congregations to sponsor activities for young people.
many churches and church groups have extensive ministrys to reach young people.

I remember when I was a little Mexican growing up in Mexico, they had all kinds of stuff for kids. We had a school program on the weekends to help us with our homework. Especially math, since the witness lady was a math teacher. But my younger siblings didn't get to experience that. I thought that was fun. The congregation had a lot of get togethers, like baseball, soccer, or basketball games against other congregations. I remember that they discouraged all that stuff at the meetings, because they didn't want people to go join just because of all the fun we were having after the meeting. That's the excuse they used, and it all went kaput after that. Oh and they stopped making announcements at the meetings about the get togethers because they were told that those activities didn't have anything to do with what was going on at the kh. And that was the end of that.

Hello....Found out about this forum last year when I was starting to go back to the meets. I found real encouraging words that spoke to me at the time. They helped me realize that I was going to the meets just to make my family happy again! I slowly deliberately started to not show up.
I made an account profile, and then forgot about it for about a year or so. So here I am again. This time I won't be a stranger. I'll keep in touch w/rebels like yous guys.

I'm so curious now. I have to actually read the Bible! I am not a bible reader and never was. Only read it at the meetings. But now, I actually have something to talk about w/my parents that will make them think, since they always insisted that since I don't read the bible, all my ideas are not worth listening to, or considering.

I've become confused w/love in these past two years. My wife says she's polyamorous. That opened my eyes to a whole way of seeing things. I was surprised of all the people that are afraid of even the word "love". I've been more open and honest about it to other people. Some people reject the idea of polyamory and some accept it. Others embrace it. I've let my wife make her own world. It's been a roallercoaster of emotions. But most of all, I've broken some barriers, and christian traditions in my own person. I never new how embedded they were in me. Is this mind conditioning? Is monogamy just a way to keep rules set and order in life? I've found myself just opening up and talking to other women and really loving who they are as a person. I can't really say that one is more special than the other. I've even said "I love u" to people that I never thought I would before. My mother in law says that it's not natural and that we're going to hurt each other. What is natural anyway?
