  Not fearing Armageddon

  some time ago i was granted some understanding about 'armageddon', and so i am sharing it with you.

  i should have shared it when i first received it from our lord.. there is nothing to fear if you are not riding out to make war against someone.

  satan deceives the nations and gets them to march against those who belong to christ and god.

  I don't fear "Armageddon" because the King James Bible

  at REV. 16:16 says it is a "Place" not a "War."

  Do You Think Writing My Daughter is a Good Idea?

  i left several years ago & have one daughter still in.

  she's 32 & married to a nonbeliever.

  after i got labeled as an apostate, she cut off all communication.

  I have a daughter still in. I did write her. I was pretty plain .

  I told her it was my fault she was in and I wanted to help

  her because it was a "cult" and she needed to get her family

  out. Said more but its too long. She wrote back and said

  she shredded my letter. She still spoke to me but said she

  would never look up anything I said, because even if she

  did and seen what I told her was true she wasn't leaving.

  Now I am DF and she wants nothing to do with me.

  I am now officially an Ex-JW!!!!

  i am now officially by being announced at congregation level that i am no longer one of jehovahs wihtnesses.

  that news spread like wild fire and i was dropped by all jw's on facebook, which shows the level of control the borg has in this area.

  what is interesting is there was no juducial committee.

  i found this site hoping to read topics submitted by jw's so i could learn more, but it just seems to be everyone else here except them.

  just about every topic and member is just bashing jw's and their teachings.

  this site should be renamed "jwbashertrolls.net".

  "There have been those in times past who predicted

  an "end to the world", even announcing a specific date...

  The end did not come. They are guilty of false prophesying."

  Let's see who can come up with the most "outlandish" END DATE calculation/speculation/prediction/prophecy

  here is mine.. if you start with the pivotal date of 1000 c.e.

  and add 1914c.e.

  (because of jw's), then add 2012 (because of mayan calendar) you come to the date of 4926 c.e.. but bear with me just a bit cause this is not the "end" as of yet because we still have to factor in the mileage between miami and tampa.

  ok jw teaching aside, can you see a time coming when religon will cease to exist?

  possibly this could happen in a dramatic sudden way or a slow burn but can you see the human race progressing to the point were they no longer need to belive in these myths and legends?.

  I just noticed, with the 6/15 WT last year, they 'apostasised" themselves

  up to the 10/95 awake it had on the fine print about the generation of 1914, it was erased from then on.

  the 11/95 watchtower then said this on page 17, "eager to see the end of this evil system, jehovah's people have at times speculated about the time when the "great tribulation" would break out, even tying this to calculations of what is the lifetime of a generation since 1914. however, we "bring a heart of wisdom in," not by speculating about how many years or days make up a generation..... .

  so they pretty much blame the membership for believing that those alive since 1914 or what makes the generation on them for believing, even though they themselves had taught it.
